Hi, I'm Kevin Turner.
with the Philadelphia Eagles [C#m] and New England Patriots.
In May of [E] 2010, I was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.
5 to 6 and a third 2 to 3.
But I'm not alone in this [C#m] fight.
5,600 other [E] Americans that are diagnosed with ALS each year.
ALS is a study in courage.
I've ever met.

_ _ Hi, I'm Kevin Turner.
Many of you may [E] know me as former fullback with the Philadelphia Eagles [C#m] and New England Patriots.
And of course, my years with the Crimson Tide.
In May of [E] 2010, I was diagnosed with ALS or Lou Gehrig's disease.
The first doctor gave me 12 to [A] 15 years.
The [E] second gave me 5 to 6 and a third 2 to 3.
Definitely not a winning trend.
But I'm not alone in this [C#m] fight.
I have my family and friends and also
5,600 other [E] Americans that are diagnosed with ALS each year.
Each person battling ALS is a study in courage.
Their families and friends are some of the most courageous people I've ever met.
Each one has a story that will inspire others not to ever give up and live life to [C#m] the fullest.
I am one story, one journey.
My hope is that I can inspire you to [E] help in the fight for a cure.
And to all those out there that are on the same journey as I am,
[E] I say to you, keep strong and journey on. _
