[Em] [Gb] You guys like, [Eb] we should like, we [N] should jam.
You guys, what do you think like, it's gonna be fun, it's just a fun jam, you know, like
blues, what do you think about blues and E?
Maybe just drop real quick blues and E, like.
I don't know man.
One of us can play rhythm guitar, you know, the other guy plays lead guitar and just jam.
We all know that we're gonna end up playing rhythm guitar and you're just gonna be ripping pentatonic licks.
Well, you know, it's, I don't wanna like lay down any ground rules.
It always goes, I don't understand why you just wanna jam.
We don't always have to jam.
What do you mean always?
We literally just came from a jam.
Well, jam in the fridge, jam, put jam on toast, make a jam sandwich.
But musically, we, you know, I jam, you jam, we all jam for music times.
I don't know, you think Tranastasio ever says, no, I don't wanna jam.
I think he ever, you think Dave Matthews is ever like, no, I just jammed yesterday.
No, it's every day, bro.
It's every day, bro.
Every day we jam.
That's an interesting way to hold that.
Is it, is it good?
What kind of pick is that?
It's a, I don't know, I found it in the bathroom.
Oh, thank you.
This feels nice.
[B] [N] Do you always grip the neck in that way?
You should keep your thumb like perpendicular with the neck.
Okay.
[Eb] It's not really good if your thumb hangs over.
Huh.
[G] Kind of bad ergonomics that way.
I don't, I don't.
You can get injured.
Oh.
[D] [Bb]
You shouldn't grip the [N] bar in that way.
See, the problem is the centripetal force of the whammy will not be equal in pitches
up and down if you hold it with multiple fingers.
You wanna use, at most, your index finger with a slight edge of your middle finger.
But the index finger holds the pick.
I mean, it's not [B] really an argument.
I'm just telling you facts.
I've watched a lot of Steve Vai videos.
Oh.
Cool.
Cool, cool story, bro.
It's not a story.
[Gb] Hey, man, this is a really cool party.
Care if I check out one of your guitars?
[Bb] Yeah, any one you want.
Here.
[A] Just got this one set up.
Oh, wait, [N] wait.
Is that a left-handed guitar?
You know I'm left-handed, right?
Well, yeah.
You knew it was coming, right?
It's fine, it's fine.
No, it's no big deal.
I brought my own, you know.
Not everyone is sensitive to the left-handed oppression that's been going on
through literally all of human history.
Well, cool, but here.
You wanna sit down?
Is that a left-handed stool?
I can't take this anymore.
We are the 11%.
We are the 11%!
That was a stool out of hands.
[D] Hey, that's [E] really great, but have you ever tried playing with an overdrive [N] pedal?
This one's super great, because what it's actually doing, you have a couple different
non-inverting op-amp stages, right?
You're going into a couple different low-pass filters.
It's clipping, it's both like hard clipping and soft clipping, which is really unheard of.
It's not anything like the TS-808 or anything like this particular one,
which is so much better, actually.
It's got the Tube Screamer circuit.
It's like the 808 right here that Steve Ray Vaughn used,
and everybody loved the 808 circuit,
because what it was doing, it had the low-pass filter,
and it was a non-inverting op-amp stage,
but it had the tone section that both boosted and cut the high [Eb] stage,
but then in the output section, it had a very low impedance compared to the TS-9,
which is completely different.
I mean, I know what you mean, but I think 4148 diodes are overrated, frankly.
