Aloha and welcome back to easyukulele.com. This is the second [F] part for Horse with No
Name done by America.
This is going to be how [Bb] to play it and the strumming.
So the intro
you just play E minor and D6 two times and then you can go into the song.
Pretty much
you're going to be playing E minor and D6 for about eight times and then you're going
to go into the chorus and that's six times and that's going to be E minor and D major
nine and then you're going to go [F] back into the verse again and that's going to [Bb] be six
times and then you go back into the chorus and then back into the last verse, the third
verse which is, let's see, one, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight.
[F] Eight times
you're going to go E minor and D6 again.
So I'll go slow and [Bb] you can just follow it.
It's pretty, it's an easy song to do.
So I'm going to start off with E minor and you're
going to just bar the second fret which is your D6.
So it's going to be [Em] like this.
[Bm]
[Bm] So
that's your intro.
Now you're going to go through the song.
[Em] On the first part of the
journey I was [Em] looking at all the life.
[Bm] There [Em] were padrocks and things.
[Bm] [Em] There were sand
hills and trees.
[Bm]
[Em] First thing I met was a fly with [Bm] the buds and a sky with no clouds.
[D] The heat was hot and the ground was dry [Bm] but the air was full of salt.
So that's your [Em] first
verse and then [F] you're going to go into the chorus and then it's going to be [Em] I've been
through the desert on a horse with no [Gm] name and you're going to go into your D major [Eb] nine.
So you bar your second fret and on your C string you're going to hold on the fourth
[Db] fret.
[Em] So it's going to be I've been through the desert on a [B] horse with no name.
[Em] It felt
good to be out of the rain.
[Eb] [Em] In the desert you can't [F] remember your name because there
ain't no one forcing you to give your opinion.
And then the la la part you just got to, you
can do that two times.
It's going to [Em] be la la [Db] la la la la la la la la la.
[B] You're going
to do that one more time.
[F] Then you can go back into the second verse and you're going
to go back into the chorus again and then into the third verse and then you can end
out with the chorus again.
I'll be putting the chords and the lyrics on the bottom [Fm] of
this video lesson.
[F] So it's pretty easy.
Eight times for the first [Gm] verse, E minor and your
[Bm] D six.
And then you're going to go to your chorus which is going to be six times E minor
[Gb] and your D major nine.
[F] And then you're going to go back into your second verse which is
going to be D minor and D six again [G] for six times.
Chorus again for six times.
And then
your third verse is [F] going to be E minor and your D six again for eight times again.
And
then you go back out to your chorus.
