I'm just going to have a little break
and I think about this for just as long as I want to.
_ Thank you.
First of all for this.
It's always such a pleasure. _ _ _ _
_ _ So obviously when you're doing something like this,
you want to make sure that your diaphragm,
your breathing mechanism is intact.
Like it's a beast in its own right.
And my gosh, he is a_
what's he wearing?
I thought he's wearing flip-flops.
That's not a flip-flop.
That's wrong.
You know, so the breath is grounded every single time
because you can't do any type of vocal.
Well, generally speaking anyway,
or a good vocal or sustainability with that vocal healthily
when it's not directed low and_
Give me a second darlings, you know.
Okay, I'm getting there.
Warming up.
_ Which leads me to my next point.
Make sure you are warming up when you're doing vocals like this.
I still need a little bit of a break.
I'm sorry. _
So that's sirens, that's sliding up,
that's using scale work where you can transition
through your chest, middle and head voice.
Very, very important there.
And all the other elements and the nuances within your range also.
That's when you want to add in vocal fry.
That's when you want to add in that kind of distorted sound
and starting light.
And then you can bring in the projection.
Then you can bring in range and power and control,
which is where a lot of people go wrong. _ _
Oh Alex, should we continue?
Anyway, ideally you'd work with your head voice
and your _ _ _ vocal fry.
I'm going to dive back in, but just be kind, [D] please.
[F] Oh! _
_ _ [E] _ _ [D] _ _ [F] _ [C#] _

Where are we?
_ _ _ [B] _ _ _
[C#] _ It's literally the whole way through!
[D] _ _

[Bm] _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _ _ _

What are you up to?
Oh.
I don't _ know.
_ [Em] _ _ Somewhere over the rainbow,
way up high,
_ there's a land
that I dare to dream
in a lullaby. _
_ _ [G] Well, that was absolutely riveting
and it slightly took me out of my own head
for that 3 minutes and 39 seconds.
Um, I feel slightly _ more_
Well, I know some people are energised by that.
I feel slightly more vulnerable
and I don't know what happened.
I feel like I need to
have a very, very strong green tea.
Stroke.
Alcoholic beverage, probably a nice gin and tonic.
I can't_
I might give that a go one day.
I'm gonna give that vocal a go.
But extraordinary talent.
I mean, you know, respect.
I mean, it's not music I listen to every day.
No, shock, horror.
I'd like to put that out in the newspapers.
But I can really_
Did I accept a wrong word?
Not looking for that, are we?
_ Appreciate the vocal dexterity and agility
in terms of the complete strength.
Strength!
It's like he had King Kong in his mouth.
And his larynx is made out of, like,
steel or something.
His whole body_
I don't know Alex terrible.
I mean_
[Am] Ah.
That's_
It [G] was [Bm] gorgeous.
[Em] Thank you so much.
Hashtag never stop [G] singing.
Hashtag you're never alone.

[Am] Okay, lots of love.
Thank you so much for [Em] your support.
Hello, Patreons.
Appreciate your support.
You are the [G] best.
The best a girl can get.
Take care.
Look after your body.
Look after your voice.
I hope he warmed down because I wouldn't want him
to be in vocal A&E.
You know?
So I hope he is looking after himself.
[Em] _ And everyone else doing that. Okay, [G#] bye! _ _ _ _ _
