_ So _ if you like the Celtic women
You know you like _ ambient sound
You like relaxation
You like purity of sound
_ And you like quality harmonies too _
They are a really cool and unique group
Of course it's all women
But they're all very talented
_ _ And within that there are harmonizations for them to do
And of course since there's [Ab] no male
It's not like you're [Eb] hearing any baritone or anything like that
So _ it's kind of interesting to hear their arrangements
And how sometimes high [G] is too high
But they do a really good job
[N] Especially in this song of not reaching that point
Where it's like okay just because you can't go that high
It's sort of like piercing down and sticking out
They do a really nice job of blending their harmonies _
And even in their four part harmonies
They don't run into any of that
They don't run into one another
I love when they go into prime unison
Because the timbre of all of their voices
Although slightly different
Really does blend and mesh very well
When they're singing in prime unison together
A couple times where they were a little sloppy
On their cutoffs or their entrances
But most of the time they were spot on
I loved just the ethereal
Kind of angelic nature
Of what you hear
Especially the content and the lyrics of the song
Is of course beautiful
One of my favorites
But very nicely done
When you think of proper singing
These girls are some of the ones
That come to my mind
As far as _ intentionality
Of vowel production And placement
And clarity of sound
You're never going to hear them do a rasp or a growl
Or something like that
It's just not part of [B] their lane
And that's okay too
[E] Just as much as I love [N] doing growls and rasps and vocal fries
And there's a place for that
There's also a place for this
And isn't that such a cool thing about music
That you can literally go to Celtic Women's YouTube channel
Or listen to them
And then go straight to Adele
And hear two totally different things
And love them just as much
I love that about music
That's so cool
And that's why music is really in my opinion
The universal language
It speaks to everyone
And it doesn't have to be just one thing that speaks to you
It could be a multitude of different sounds
That speak to your heart and your soul
On any given day
This definitely did to mine today
