[B] Hey guys welcome back again to Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy where the proof is
in the singing.
I want to do a vocal reaction to the Bee Gees and I did the
How Deep Is Your Love tour.
These guys were just insane and I've never seen
this video before but I'm actually looking forward to it.
So let's just go
ahead and do a vocal reaction to the Bee Gees.
Here we go.
[Em] [N]
There we go.
This is How Deep Is Your Love [Em] and from a one night only tour I could [E] say.
[A]
Crazy [E] songwriters.
[A] [E]
[G#m] [A]
[E]
[G#m] [F#m] [C#] [F#m]
[G#] [C#] [E]
So smooth.
[G#m] [C#m] [F#m] What [B] a great song man.
[A]
[G#m]
[F#m] [D]
Okay now for my older audience out there you guys have already heard the Bee
Gees a lot.
For my younger audience out there if you guys don't check them out
I'm just gonna go.
You got to check them out [N] and no they're not rock band you
know but their songwriting was just off the charts great and it was kind of sad
because if you go through their story you know the younger brother died and
you know little by little each one of them died and you know Barry's the last
one left [Bm] but anyway yeah just phenomenal songwriting.
Let's just keep going
because I could talk a lot about these guys.
[G#m] [A]
[E] [G#m]
[A] [Am]
[E] [D]
[C#]
[F#m] Smooth vocals.
[Am]
[E] [G#m] [F#m]
[C#] [F#m] It's almost too [G#] much talent for one [E] family.
Seriously.
[G#m] [C#m]
[F#m]
[G#m] By the way not a missed note, blended harmonies that are crazy.
They're not
they're playing for the song, they're not playing for themselves so you can tell
that they're really into the song and in the moment of the song so they're not
overdoing that.
[A] That's really noticeable.
[G#m] [F#m]
[D] [G#m]
[A] [E]
[B] [A] Really sexy.
[Am] [E]
[D] [C#]
[F#m]
[Am] [E]
One more thing.
What I also love about bands like this is they can write a love
song without writing gratuitous sex crap in it.
They can make it genuine and
tender and intimate [G#] and draw you in in a way where you know it yeah it's a
lovemaking song yeah it's a we'll go out to dinner song yeah it's a you know have
a romantic meal song yeah it's a you know all those things but within it
there's a sweetness to it that's not like I said gratuitous it's just genuine
great songwriting and great intimacy within the song.
So let's continue.
[F#m]
[C#] [F#m] [G#] [A]
[E] [G#m] [C#m]
[F#m] [A]
And you come to me on [G#m] a summer breeze, keep me [F#m] warm in your love.
Then [D] you softly leave, [G#m] and it's me you need to [A] show.
How deep is [E] your love?
How [B] deep is your [E] love?
How deep [Am] is your love?
[E] Cause we're living in a world [D] of fools, breaking [C#] us down.
When they are just shoving at [F#m] us deep, we belong [Am] to you [E] and me.
[G#m] Now I'd like to comment on one more thing.
A couple more things but one more
for this part.
Somehow the UK developed so much talent in such a short period of
time and I could just talk we talked about Elton John earlier and we talked
about I mean the Beatles of course and I mean we could just go on and on to
George Michael and and Led Zeppelin and I mean on and Rolling Stones and you know
and and and and.
Man for a tiny little island you know to produce and the Bee Gees
of course that much talent is just pretty crazy.
Now I know Australia's
produced a lot of talent, I know Canada's produced a lot of talent but when I look
let's say for example to take the United States.
Yes there's been a lot of talent
that's come out of the US but per capita when you see how big the US is for how
much talent relative to a smaller island like you know in this case
England, it's just pretty phenomenal just this explosion that happened out there.
So alright let's continue to [A] rock or pop.
[E]
[B] [E]
[A] So smooth.
[Am]
[E] [D]
[C#]
[F#m] [Am]
[E] [G#m] [C#]
[B] [E] So good.
So good.
Wow.
I actually did what's Bee Gees song that I did.
What I did [N]
like you know
Keep Dancing or whatever it's based on the name of that song but and then I
also did I did one on blending actually so Bob if you or I have an associate
named Bob.
I want you to put in the description tag the Bee Gees tunes that
I've done so you can see here you know at least how I stacked up to that but
there's one on blending specifically that's actually so good Lonely Days,
Lonely Nights and and I just did a demonstration on blending because these
guys were just masters at it but anyway you guys thank you for joining me Ken
Tamplin Vocal Academy where [G#m] the proof is in the singing and until next [G] time peace out.
[Dm] Hey guys if you like [E] what you heard please LIKE and SUBSCRIBE to my channel
by clicking on the SUBSCRIBE button.
[D] That will actually take you to another page
where you want to click on the Bell icon and it opens up a menu and [E] the menu has
notifications on it where there's a little box you can check where it says
[A] send me [C] all notifications for this [G] channel.
Check the [D] box and then click the
SAVE [Am] button and you'll get notifications from [C] me every time I have [G] a cool video
come out.
[Bm] Okay thanks guys.
Peace out.
