[F#] Hey, I'm Gavin Rossdale and you're watching Fuse On Demand.
Get it when you want it.
[A] _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ _ [F#m] For us to be performing in New Orleans tonight, this special night of Halloween, it's pretty
exclusive and important and special for us, you know, because New Orleans is [G#] such a [E] great
[D] city, a musical community.
[Fm] I think no [E] other city on [F#m] the planet loves its music and its heritage, [D] its musical heritage,
and celebrates it as much as New [B] Orleans does.
_ And so to be here because of that reason is pretty special.
And then in addition to [D] that, I'm a huge fan of the occult and the voodoo and [E] some of the
mysticism [F#m] that goes on here in the city.
So for me, there's a lot of, there's [Bm] threads of [D] special _ reasons why I like to be here.
[Fm] Favorite thing to do in my downtime here in New [F#m] Orleans _ is to [E] wander late at [Am] night through
some of the cemeteries.
And I mean, not only are [E] they [A] creepy and cool and just [N] really, they look, I mean, they almost
look like [B] haunted sets, [C#m] you know, like movie sets.
But they're also just, if you look at some of the [E] architecture [A] and some of the stones
[E] and some of the [A] mausoleums, they're just, they're [E] really beautiful.
_ [D] Each [Bm] one is a work of art.
And _ [E] so that's really [D] kind of a nice thing to do and walk around.
[E] You don't get [D] to see that in many [E] other cities.
_ [Bm] It is Halloween in New Orleans, which is, you know, the voodoo capital of the world.
A lot of occult [B] happening here, a lot of magic happening here.
[F#m] So I brought with [D] me a Ouija board.
I [C] thought perhaps you and I could conjure up something.
We could.
What should we ask?
[Em] Well, have you done this before?
No, I've never done this [C] before.
Rest your fingers on the, on the, uh, [G] whatever [D] this thing is called.
The thing.
The [B] planchette, I believe they call [G] it.
And let's ask it, [E] are we going to go out on a date after the show [B] tonight?
_ _ [G] _ _ _
_ [E] I think, I think [Am] you're slightly forced.
I am not touching it.
[C] _ _ Are you pushing that?
No.
[Bm] I'm not pushing it.
_ Let me ask you something a [F#] little bit more [G] clear and precise.
_ Do you think [Bm] that we're going to go on a date eventually?
[B] _ _ _ _ [F#] Yeah.
[G] _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
It's saying no.
[Em] It is. _ _
We could discuss this a little [D#] later time.
Spirits [E] don't always know what they're talking about.
Yeah, they're a little, they're in the dark, you know what I'm saying?
They're floating around dead and miserable.
They don't want to see me happy, do they?
We can come back to it.
_ Halloween is kind of the one day [C] out of the year that I blend in with the rest of the
world, you know?
I'm [A] really excited to see all the [Bm] costumes out there and all the festivities out there
and hopefully [E] we'll bring some of that up on stage with us so the Halloween spirit can
come on stage and be part of [Dm] Jane's edition.
Are [E] you guys doing something special [A] for the Halloween show or is [C] it the usual Jane thing?
We have, well it's the usual [D] Jane's thing.
[Bm] It's the original lineup.
We have a couple of different things that are going to take [G] place that are different
from our normal set.
[B] And as I said, we want to _ _ [E]
[G] ask some of the people in the audience to participate towards
the end of the [C#] show.
That's awesome.
And just bring their wares up on stage and [A#] have a good time.
We haven't run into anybody here because we just [F#] got here.
We're going on earlier tonight, _ _ [C#]
right before Kiss of all things.
How do you feel [G#] about that?
I like to think that Kiss is closing for us.
[A#m] Nice.
That's a good way to look at it.
Nice.
I was in the hotel [F#] lobby and I ran into _ Paul and [C#] Jean from Kiss and it was, you know, I've
[G#] known those guys for many years but I [A#] went and saw Kiss in the _ 70s when I was [F#] like 11
years old and saw Cheap Trick [C#] open for them.
So it was, like back then I was just kind of like [G#m] dazzled by the whole production and
[A#] the rock [D#m] star thing and you know, bands like [G#] that of that caliber.
And to be here on [A#m] Halloween _ playing a show with Kiss [F#] is kind of a dream come true.
[C#] Pretty badass.
The sexy stuff.
It's pretty badass.
_ _ [G#] _
_ So we're [C#] here [G] first. _ _ _
[A#] _ _ _ _ _ [D#] _ _ _
