[Eb] Welcome to Wandersong episode 5, [Bb] and thank you for following along [Abm] on this journey.
[Eb]
This episode brings us to Northern Thailand, where we had some [Bb] experiences that really
touched me, [Ab] and I'd like to share with you.
[Eb] Besides the usual temple hopping, food tasting, [Bb] and city exploring, [Eb] we visited and stayed
at Happy Home, a Christian children's home in a small village [Bb] that takes in kids from
troubled [Ab] households, some with [Eb] stories you wouldn't believe, [Cm] and raises them to be
amazing [Bb] human beings.
Between [Ab] the kids, the staff, [Eb] and MK, the incredible leader of the home, I've never [Bb] met such down-to-earth
and [Eb] pure people.
Despite the card that was dealt to each of [Cm] them, they go through [Bb] life with such [Fm] grace
that it makes me feel [Cm] guilty, [Ab] grateful, and [Eb] determined to be a better person.
[Ab] I was able to [Eb] share some music with these kids [Bb] each night, and just being [Eb] around them
for our short visit made [Ab] me look at life in a renewed way.
[Eb] I [Bb] wrote the song you hear, called Joy and Misery, that [Ab] stems from our time at Happy
Home, [Eb] about the universality [Bb] of human beings and the [Eb] sameness within each of us, [Ab] every
child no matter [Eb] what our life situation is.
[Bb] Oh, and one more thing.
If these faces [Eb] inspire you as well, for [Bb] a short fee each month, [Ab] you can sponsor one
of these kids.
[Eb] Just see the link in the information section of the video below.
Everybody [Bb] loves, [Ab] and everybody's [Eb] heart breaks.
Smiles [Bb] and tears, we're all [Eb] the same.
Where [Bb] you are, or [Ab] ten thousand miles [Eb] away, [Cm] we all [Bb] feel joy and [Ab] misery.
[Eb] [Cm] We all [Bb] feel joy and [Eb] misery.
[Cm] [Bb]
[Ab] [F] [Eb] [Ab] Boy stays at [Eb] the stars from [Bb] his bed in [Eb] California, [Ab] wishing he [Eb] accomplishes [Bb] his dreams.
[Ab] Under the [Eb] same sky from [Bb] his room in [Eb] Southeast Asia, [Ab] a different [Eb] boy is wishing the [Bb] same thing.
[Eb] Cause everybody [Bb] loves, [Ab] and [Eb] everybody's heart breaks.
[Bb] Smiles and tears, [Eb] we're all the same.
[Bb] Where you are, or [Ab] ten thousand [Eb] miles [C] away, [Eb] we all feel [Bb] joy and [Ab] misery.
