[A] Hi there, my name is Owe Bush, I'm product specialist and clinician for Warwick, and
I'm here with the Streamr Double Bug.

[Cm] The Streamr is kinda like the best known Warwick model.
It comes in various different pickup configurations.
Here you can see the Double Bug.
This one is made out of beautiful US swamp ash and it comes in natural oil finish.
The fretboard as well as the neck are made from wenge.
Starting in 2013, Warwick returned to use wenge for all bolt-on necks as a standard material.
You can see the bolt-on construction with four individually recessed screws.
The neck pocket of course is CNC routed, but it's individually hand-fit for each instrument
for the best possible connection between neck and body.
The 24 frets are installed to the fretboard by using a Warwick in-house invention.
[Abm] It's called [N] the IFT, Invisible Fret Technology.
It increases the stability of the neck by not cutting the fretboard all the way through.
The side dots are fluorescent.
They glow nicely in the dark.
The pickups used on this bass are passive MEC Double M humbuckers.
And according to the M&M style of the pickups, I call the open-pole pieces the Smarties.
The sound of the Smarties can be controlled via a two-band MEC active electronic circuit.
First we have the volume control.
When it's pulled, the bass is passive.
Then we have the balance, treble and bass.
With these two toggle switches, you can switch each pickup to either serial or parallel mode
or use it as a single coil.
With the Streamer Double Buck, tons of different sounds can be created.
A few of them you hear in the following samples.
One of Warwick's trademarks is the headstock.
Here you can find the comfortably angled tuners and the easy-access truss rod cover.
This is the Justinette 3, with which you can adjust the string height by using the two [C] screws.
On the other side of the 34-inch scale, you'll see another Warwick trademark, the two-piece bridge.
The lower tailpiece [Abm] improves the transfer of the string vibration into the bodywood.
The bridge itself can be adjusted in all three dimensions.
Also you can adjust the overall string height on the four corner screws and lock the bridge in position.
The bridge is CNC routed from a solid block of brass.
Bell brass is very neutral sounding.
For this reason, all parts that come in contact with the strings are made from this material.
The Warwick security locks can be used with or even without the included locking attachments.
On the backside, you see the easy-access electronics compartment cover, which lets you switch your
battery within seconds.
The Streamer Double Buck is available as a four or five string, in right or left handed
and in threaded or threadless versions.
You can choose from a natural oil, colored oil or high polish finish.
Each base is precisely set [N] up with Warwick stainless steel EMP strings, which have a
special molecular coating that enhances their longevity.
After setup, each base ships in a durable flight case, which includes a plush velvet
cover that helps protect your base.
You'll also find a user kit featuring everything you need to maintain your base and a certificate
of authenticity signed by Warwick's founder, Hans-Peter Wilfer, which guarantees that your
base was handcrafted in Germany.
Warwick does not only set standards in the production of an instrument, but also on the environmental field.
This company is very progressive.
So it's the first company which produces all instruments in carbon neutral production facilities.
The Streamer to me, with its nicely contoured and curved body, is one of the most comfortable
bases to play.
In the Double Buck version, it's extremely versatile.
So no matter what style you play or what music you like, go check this killer bass out.
