[D] _ [C] _ _ _ _ [Fm] Jesus Christ has delivered us from [Dm] our sin [Am] and has made us [C] priests to serve the Father.
[F] _ [Dm]
The Apostle [Am] Peter wrote [Dm] that we're a royal priesthood.
As [C] priests, we are [Dm] called to minister to God.
_ [G] [C] Praise is where we begin.
But then he wants to take [Am] us deeper, [F] to learn the beauty of worship.
We [G] [C] are called [Am] to be a royal [Em] priesthood that will minister to God.
[Am] _ _ [Dm] Declare the wisdom of [F] his ways.
[G] Exalt [F] his [C] character in [F] praise.
[C] _ _ _ [F] We [C]
are [G] called [Am] to yield unto the Spirit [Em] that he may form in [G] [D] us
_ [Am] _ _ [Dm] beauty of the [A] mouth _ _ [G] of [A]
Jesus [G] Christ.
_ [A] _ _ [Dm] _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ [B] [C] And manifest [G] [Am] his glory.
_ _ [Dm] Call to [C] feel [E] his heart and know all [Am] _
_ _ [Gm] _ _ [C] _ [F] can give to him.

_ _ _ _ [G] _ _ [C] We are called to minister deeply [Bb] _ _ [C] _ to [F] set us [G] _ _ [F] _ _ [Em] _ _ [Am] _
_ _ _ in worship for [Dm] _ _
_ _ [G] his _ [C] majesty. _
_ [F] _ [G] _ _ _ _ _ [C] _
What [Am] does it mean to minister to the Lord through worship?
[Em] _
Perhaps [C] we can understand [G] our ministry to him by [Am] looking at the Old Testament [Dm] priests,
who are like spiritual illustrations of us who are the royal [G] priesthood.
The [F] Prophet Ezekiel shows us [C] that the priests of the Old [F] Testament had two areas of [C] ministry.
The [Dm] outer court where they served the [Em] people and the inner [Am] court where they ministered to God.
_ [Em] They served the people by offering sacrifices.
[B] Even so, God [Dm] calls us [Am] to minister to [Dm] the needs of people,
to encourage the downhearted, [F] to comfort the lonely,
[G] to share the good news of Jesus [A] with those who do not know him.
[Em] _ [A] But after the priests would serve [Dm] the people,
they would enter [C] the inner court [G] to settle into a quiet place of worship before [C] the Lord.
Because Jesus [G] lives in us, [Am] that inner court is as close as our heart.
[Dm] It is there in that place of [F] communion that we [Am] know God [E] and find lasting joy.
For as [Am] Jesus said, this is life [Dm] eternal, that you may know [Cm] me.
[G] _ We are called [Em] to keep the Father's word and meditate _ [G] upon the [Am] _ _ [Dm] loveliness of Jesus [F] [C] Christ.
_ [G] _ [F] Our prayers are [C] saddened.
_ [F] _ [C] _ _ Our worship is [Am] responding to the [Em] revelations of His _ [Am] day.
[Dm] We give pleasure unto _ [G] Him whose heart is [Em] broken, _ [A] _
[G] overseer.
[A] _ We're [Dm] called to yield [G] our _ minds, [C] our bodies, [G] soul, [Am] and spirit.
_ [Dm] Worship [D] Him [E] the way He wants to [Am] be _ [Gm]
without [C] _ _ [F] _ _ _ [C] _ [F] _
_ _ [Em] _ _ [Am] _ [Em] shunning.
[Am] _
_ _ [Dm] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ [C] _ _ [Bb] _ _ [C] _
[G] We _ [F] _ _ _ just [Em] want Him [Am] _ _ [Em] _ [Am] to worship [Dm] for _ _ _ [G] _ _ [C] as He _ _ [F] is. _ _ _ _
