[F] [G] Welcome to Rob's Squad Reactions with your boy Jay and your girl Amber.
We're back today with another reaction video suggested to us by you [N] guys.
Amazing R.S..R. Family. But we got a band we've done for y'all once. That's right. Time to go back to them again. There's a couple things y'all need to do though. Like this video, subscribe to the channel and turn that post notification bell so you don't miss anything that we've got coming. That's right because we don't drop just one or two videos a day. We drop three. So hit that post notification bell. Tell them who we got. America. America. And the song we're listening to is You Can Do Magic. The last one we did was A Horse With No Name. I loved A Horse With No Name. That was such a cool song. That was a cool song. All the different kind of aspects and the storytelling. So excited to get back to them today. Again, if y'all are new, hey, we got a slogan around here. We gotta give the people what they want. Y'all want some more America. You Can Do Magic. Let's get it. [E] [C]
[Em] [C]
[D] [Em] [B] [C]
[D] [Em] I never [Bm] believed in [C] things [D] that I [Em] couldn't see. I [Bm] said if I [C] can't feel it, [D] then how could [Em] it be? No, [C] no magic [D] could happen [Em] to me. [Bm] [C] Then I saw [D] you, [Em] I couldn't [C] believe it. You took my heart, [Em] I couldn't [C] retrieve it. Said to myself, [Em] what's it all [C] about? [Em] Now I know [D] there can be no doubt. [Bm] You can [Em] do magic. [C] Hmm. [G] You can [Em] have [Bm] anything [C] that you [D] desire. [Em] [Bm] Magic. [C] [G] And you [Em] know you're the one who can put out [D] the fire. [Em] You know [C] darn well when you cast [B] your spell, you will get your [C] way. When you [Em] hypnotize [C] with your eyes, a heart [Em] of stone [Bm] can turn to [C] clay. [D] [N] See, it makes me, I love this. It makes me so mad. When you get these male groups like this and they hit that harmony and that chorus and they all come together, we don't have that anymore. I don't think of any, and if I'm wrong, drop it in the comments, I don't think there's any groups, like new age groups like this nowadays. Not like that, for sure. That's what I'm saying. I also like how the guitar we heard maybe five seconds ago, it has a really cool tone to it. It's played kind of lightly, but it also has that spacey effect. I like the meaning of the song. Listen, you have to believe magic can happen to you for magic to happen. And he's basically saying I was one of those people who, but when I met you, you did magic on me. You changed my mind, I'm in love. I think it's a really cool song and how they incorporated the magic into it. Oh, the magic. Yeah, yeah, yeah. I [Bm] like it. Let's [D] play. [Bm] [D] [Em]
[C] [D] [Em] [Bm]
[D] It's like feel good [Bm] music. [C] [D] [Bm] And when the [D] rain is beating [Bm] upon the window pane, [D] and when the [Bm] night gets so [D] cold, when I [Em] can't sleep [C] [D] again, you come to [Bm] me. [D] I hold you tight, the [Bm] rain disappears, [D] who would [Bm] believe it? [C] With the words [D] you dry my tears. [Bm] You can do magic. [G] You can have [Bm] anything that [D] you desire. [Bm] Magic. [G] And you know [Bm] you're the one [C] who can put [D] out the fire. [Bm] You know darn well, [D] when you cast your [Bm] spell, you get [C] your way. [D] When you [Bm] hypnotize with your [B] eyes, the harp of [Bm] stone can turn to [D] clay. [Bm] Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, [D] do, do, do, do, [Bm] do, do, [C] do, [D] do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, [C] do. And if I wanted [Dm] to. [N] He really honestly has a great voice because this song is like super easy. It's uplifting. It has like, I don't know, it's really positive. It makes you feel good. It's feel good for sure. But he has like such a great voice. And for this song to be kind of, you know, the easier side, because like when we first started America, I was like, oh, this is like really folk, you know? And then this one, it's just like an easy sound to it. But they still found a way to not lose that. Like they still found a way to bring in just a little bit of that folk sound. And I don't know how, I don't know where, but they incorporated something new. And it's really cool to see both of that side. To me, like I said, it's the feel good. This is a summertime vibe to me. Yeah, but it's easy. And it's got some spacey moments too. And that's why, because it's just so easy. Like it's put me on a beach, play me some America that you can do magic. That part's cool. I really, really like the tempo, kind of the cadence to it. You know, it has you rocking it from side to side. The cadence to the part where you hypnotize with your eyes. The cadence to that part is really cool too. I'm digging it. And again, this is only our second song from America. So we are definitely going to have to get more into their catalogs. Don't forget to drop down in the comments some more of what we should do next. Let's get back. [C] I could never be [E] free. [F#] I [C] never believed it [Bm] was true. But now it's so clear [D] to me. [Bm] You can do magic. You [D] can have [Bm] anything that [D] you desire. [Bm] Magic. [D] And you know [Bm] you're the one who can put [D] out the fire. [Bm] You know done well [D] when you cast yourself. [Bm] You'll get [C] told when [D] you [Bm] hypnotize with your [D] eyes. A heart of stone [Bm] can turn [C] to clay. [D] A heart [Bm] of stone can turn to clay. [D] [Bm] [C] [D] [Bm]
[C] [D] You're [Bm] the one [C] who can put [D] out the fire. [Bm] [C] [D] [Bm] You're the one who [C] can put out [D] the fire. [Bm] [C] [D] You're [Bm] the one who [Em] can put out [D] the fire. [N] I really like the line that you're the heart of stone can turn to clay. Yeah, no, that whole part, because it's right after the chorus, that whole part with the other guy singing, I'm sorry, we're really not familiar with America's band members yet. We got to do more. We got to learn names. But right after the chorus, he came in with the part that I said had a really cool cadence. That whole part is probably my favorite of the song. And I wish I could give it to you guys. Like I wish I could say it word for word. But I would butcher it. I need to hear it again. We'll have to go back and hear it again. When you hypnotize with your eyes, you can melt a heart of clay. It's cool. It was really cool. But even, you know, one thing we haven't talked about yet, like the ad libbing, the do do do do do do. Yeah, I like that. They sounded really good together with that part. Yes, guys, thank y'all so much for, you know, for getting us back to America. Definitely, like we said earlier, a band that we have to get back to because it's been this one now and Horse With No Name. So drop down in the comments. Let us know what should be our next song or what their next biggest hit is. But for today, guys, that's going to be it from us. As we always send you out of here, we love you. We thank you. We appreciate you. And remember, every day that you wake up, it is a blessing and that you are blessed. And for your new family members, hit that subscribe button down below. You guys have a goal every day, just like we do. Tell them that goal, ma. Guys, you got to make somebody [F] smile. Don't forget to get your RSR merch. Link in the description. _ Let's [D] play. _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _
[C] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Em] _ _ [Bm] _
_ _ [D] It's like feel good [Bm] music. _ [C] _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ [Bm] And when the [D] rain is beating [Bm] upon the window pane, [D] _ and when the [Bm] night gets so [D] cold, when I [Em] can't sleep [C] _ [D] again, you come to [Bm] me. _ _ [D] I hold you tight, the [Bm] rain _ disappears, [D] who would [Bm] believe it? _ [C] _ With the words [D] you dry my tears. [Bm] You can do magic. _ _ [G] You can have [Bm] anything that [D] you desire. _ _ [Bm] Magic. _ _ [G] _ And you know [Bm] you're the one [C] who can put [D] out the fire. [Bm] You know darn well, [D] when you cast your [Bm] spell, you get [C] your way. [D] When you _ [Bm] hypnotize with your [B] eyes, the harp of [Bm] stone can turn to [D] clay. _ _ [Bm] Do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, [D] do, do, do, do, [Bm] do, do, [C] do, [D] do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, do, [C] do. [C] _ I could never be [E] free. [F#] _ I [C] never believed it [Bm] was true. But now it's so clear [D] to _ me. _ [Bm] You can do magic. You [D] _ can have [Bm] anything that [D] you desire. _ [Bm] Magic. _ _ [D] And you know [Bm] you're the one who can put [D] out the fire. _ [Bm] You know done well [D] when you cast yourself. [Bm] You'll get [C] told when [D] you _ [Bm] hypnotize with your [D] eyes. A heart of stone [Bm] can turn [C] to clay. [D] A _ heart [Bm] of stone can turn to clay. [D] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ [C] _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
[C] _ _ [D] _ _ You're [Bm] the one [C] who can put [D] out the _ fire. [Bm] _ _ [C] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [Bm] You're the one who [C] can put out [D] the fire. _ [Bm] _ _ [C] _ _ [D] _ _ You're [Bm] the one who [Em] can put out [D] the fire. _ _ [N] I really like the line that you're the heart of stone can turn to clay.
