something we've done twice I believe here on the channel let them know.
Alright guys so
today we're checking out Mr.
Brian Adams the song we're listening to today is
called Heaven.
Don't like I said we've done it twice so I don't really know
what all Brian Adams catalog holds but I'm excited go ahead and down that rabbit
hole and check something new out if y'all are new here to the channel though
hey [G] go ahead and like this video subscribe to [N] the channel and turn on
post notification bell so you never miss a video and we got a slogan we got to
give the people what they want y'all wanted some Brian Adams heaven let's
check it out.
[C] [Am] [C] [F]
That's the old Breathalyzers?
[C] [Am] [G]
[Dm] Only you and [Am] me, we [F] were young and wild and [G] free, [C] now [Am] I'll take you [G] away from me
We've [Dm] been down that road [Am] before, but [Bb] that's over now, [Am] you keep [G] me coming [G] back for more
Baby you're all I [Am] want, when you're lying [F] here in my arms, [G] I'm finding it hard to believe we're in heaven
[A] I've heard that somewhere I have heard that part somewhere lying here in my
arms like that we're in heaven like maybe in a movie that we've watched I
know I know for a fact I've heard that part before I didn't know I didn't know
this was the song I'd know I didn't Brian Adams sang it but now I know I'm glad
oh wait wait while you have it paused I love it when I think of Brian Adams he's
such a blue jean t-shirt boots type of man like you even get that from his
Grady killer vocals so him and Springsteen are both yeah you guys I like
that I like the blue jeans boots kind of guy so that I love listening to Brian
Adams I want to know where the heck I've heard this at though it's gonna bug me
[G] just that just the chorus
[Am]
[C] [F]
[G] Oh
[C]
[F] [C]
[Am] [G] [Dm]
bring [Am] [Bb] you up when you're [G] feeling down [C]
yeah
[Am] nothing could change [G] what you mean to me oh [Dm] I [Am] can say [Bb] just hold me [Am] now
it's [G] our love will light the way [F] and baby you're all [Am] that I want [C] when you're lying here [F] in my arms
I'm finding it [Am] hard to believe [G] we're in heaven
[F] yeah love is [Am] a need [C] and [F] it isn't too [Am] hard to see [G] we're in heaven
[Dm]
I've been waiting for so [F] long for [Am]
love to [B] come [G] along
[Dm]
and like I said we haven't done enough of Brian Adams to really know too much
about him or his [N] vocal range but he gives you that that scratchiness and
again the chorus the only part that I've heard to me is so so good yeah to me it
it's like it's the best climactic part of the song it's where the drums
really hard and then he goes into that really gritty killer manly but soft and
gentle vocals that he's given us in the chorus it's a breakfast club like I feel
like this is like the perfect like 80s high school type movie it's just such a
perfect love song what what it was it it's gonna bug the heck out of me but
like I said I've heard the chorus somewhere I just don't know where but
Brian Adams he has [G] just the right amount of grit yeah just the right amount of grit
especially for songs like this they're kind of rock kind of ballads oh
definitely ballad but it's a hard-hitting ballad especially when it
comes to the chorus those drums exactly
[Dm] [F]
[C] [G]
[F] [Am] [C]
[F] [Am] [G]
[F] [Am] [C]
[F] [Am] [G]
[F] I don't know what [Am] [C] I found in there in [F] your heart
It's too hard [Am] to see
We're [Gm] in heaven
[G] [F] [Am] [C]
[F] You won't let [Am] me
[G]
[F] [Am] [C]
[F] Go get your girl
Go get your [G] girl
He was singing to old girl in the crowd
[N] Oh he didn't get her
He was singing to old girl in the crowd
When she took off he said
I'm gonna go catch her
Guys that was just such a very very sweet song a very well written song
because the instruments around him like talk about a setup with that guitar and
those drums and then that chorus like I said song of the day yeah that's Jay's
head song of the day that's the one will be stuck in my head all day today guys
thank y'all so much for that one it's it's one that I feel like you know a lot
of people underestimate Brian Adams like it and I was one of those people because
we haven't done him in probably seven months like he's one of those guys I
tend to forget about and he does give us some some Bruce Springsteen kind of
well there's it's not just kind of they both have killer gritty vocals they have
songs that are relatable American man blue jeans white t-shirt the blue jeans
the white t-shirt the boots type of vibe so yeah definitely it's that it's that
that feel that we absolutely love from Bruce Brian Adams has it but he he has
it in his own right so honestly I'm surprised that he's an artist we haven't
dove into more because we do love that so much so I'm excited you guys remind
us of him and that we can dive into more no doubt but guys that's the end of
today's video as we always send you out of here we love you we thank you we
