Man, where two or more are gathered, he's [C#m] with them.
I sense the presence of God in this place.
[F#]
Man, I gotta tell you, I started learning [B] about the presence of God when I was five years old.
I'm thankful that I was raised in a home where I learned about [F#] Jesus and good music.
My parents taught us about [G#m] that.
And [F#] I thought when I accepted Christ [B] at five, that I was just [F#] gonna have this simple, easy [B] life.
Kind of struggle [F#] free, right?
All the way up to heaven.
Not so much.
[G#m] [F#] Because see, there's a real enemy out there.
[B] And he hates the things of God.
And so when I got to my teenage years, he came after me with full force.
[F#]
And long story short, all [G#m] the things I said I would never [F#] do, one by one, they just fell away like dominoes.
And in my quest to be loved [B] and accepted by [F#] man, I went down some dark roads, y'all.
By the [G#m] time I was all said and done, I was [F#] in and out of five drug treatment [B] centers.
I was dealing dope [A#m] to support my [F#] habit.
I was in and out of jail.
But the worst of it was that mental torture that came over my mind.
The anxiety was so heavy.
There were some days it was so unbearable that I really thought, how am I gonna keep going?
And [G#] I started to contemplate just being [F#] done with it all.
That's just real talk.
All I can tell you is this.
When I thought for sure that God had washed his hands clean of me and he thought, I'm done with that one.
When I felt so nasty, [B] so unlovable, that [F#] is when the Lord God Almighty got down in the pit with me.
And he said, hey, I got different plans for you.
He reminded me of my destiny.
And he pulled me up out of that pit.
[C#] I'm not [F#] a perfect man, but to the glory of God, Lord willing, day by day, this May, I'm gonna get to celebrate 32 years of being clean and sober.
Come on, man.
That's a miracle.
[B] The miracle of God.
So I don't know where you are tonight.
I know [F#] there's some stories in this place about the faithfulness of God, right, and what he's done.

That's just real talk.
_ All I can tell you is this.
_ When I thought for sure that God had washed his hands clean of me and he thought, I'm done with that one.
When I felt so nasty, [B] so unlovable, _ that [F#] is when _ the Lord God Almighty got down in the pit with me.
_ And he said, hey, _ I got different plans for you.
He reminded me of my destiny. _
And he pulled me up out of that pit.
[C#] _ I'm not [F#] a perfect man, but to the glory of God, _ Lord willing, day by day, this May, I'm gonna get to celebrate 32 years of being clean and sober.
Come on, man.
_ That's a miracle.
_ _ [B] The miracle of God.
_ _ _ So I don't know where you are tonight.
I know [F#] there's some stories in this place about the faithfulness of God, right, and what he's done.
I know it.
But I [B] also know _ there's some people in some serious pain here [G#] tonight.
_ I don't know what you're walking [F#] through, but God does.
You might not even believe in God, but he believes in you.
And you are not here by accident.
So what I would [B] just love if we could, as a body, [F#] do is call out to the Spirit of God.
Let [G#] the Spirit of faith rise in this place.
Y'all, there's some hurt people, but I believe God's a miracle-working [B] God.
And he can meet people where they are.
[G#] _ _ _
[F#] Y'all ready to give it up for God and just worship like you've never sung before in your life? _
_ _ Oh, come on now.
Washington!
_ You guys ready to sing?
_ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _
So we [B] sing praise to the Father who [F#] gave us the Son.
_ [B] And praise to the Spirit who's living [C#] in us.
_ [B] When I was a sinner, he saved me from who I was. _
[F#] _ _ _ _ _ _
So [B] we sing praise to the Father [F#] who gave us the [G#] Son.
_ [B] Praise to the Spirit [C#] who's living in us.
[B] When I was a sinner, [D#m] he saved [E] _ _ _ [B] me from who I [G#] was. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [D#m] Oh, that's [C#] what Jesus _ [F#] does.
_ _ _ _ _ _
[G#] Oh, [F#] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ yeah, that's what [B] Jesus does.
_ [F#] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [N] _ _
