Here's a fifth string open [A] a for tuning
[N] First of all my apologies to all the real slide players out there
I only play slide a couple of times a year so my technique is pretty sloppy
it's easier to tell what [G#] strings.

Here's a quick lesson on the guitar solo for werewolves of London by Warren's Yvonne.
I'll give you a quick run-through first _
_ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ [F#m] _
[A] _ _ [D] _ _ _ _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ [G#]
Here's a fifth string open [A] a for tuning _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [N] _ First of all my apologies to all the real slide players out there
I only play slide a couple of times a year so my technique is pretty sloppy
For this lesson.
I'm actually gonna do it with my fingers because it's easier to tell what [G#] strings.
I'm hitting
You know obviously with the slide you can't actually tell what strings.
I'm hitting and I guess we'll take it phrase by [D] phrase
_ [G] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [N]
Okay for that we're starting on the open fourth
And we're going to the third fret open again to the fifth fret and then we're going on the fourth fret
Of the G string and we're sliding that up to the seventh fret
_ _ [G] _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ one more time
[Dm] _
[G] _ _ _ [D] _ _ _ After that you're starting on the fourth fret of the [B] third string and we're gonna go
_ _ [G] _
[G] _ _ [B] _ _ So that's fourth
[D] _
_ Seventh [G#] slide up to the [F#] 11th
_ [G] _
[F#] 12th 14 and
His began and slide it up to the [Em] 16th and back down to the 12th
Let's do that one a couple of times [Bm] starting on the fourth one _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ [B] more time
fourth fret
[D] _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ [N] And of course you're ending here on the 15th fret of the first string and just sliding down
_ _ [Bm] _ _ [G] _ _ _
[N] _ _ Now the second time through we're starting on the third fret of the fourth string and we're gonna pull off
And we're gonna grab the string again seventh fret third _ _
[D] _ _ _ [F] You
Know I kind of slide up to the third fret
[D] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
[E] Okay, and going from that last note that where we left off here on the seventh fret.
We're gonna go up to the ninth
actually, I'll play the
_ Vic for you first
[G] _ _ _ _ _
[Em] _ _ _ _ [D#] So again, we're sliding up to the ninth fret
Slide it down just a bit and then grab the eighth fret here on the second string
_ [C#] _
[Em] _ _ _ [C#] 12th fret second string [Em] back down
back up
Then go [A] to the tenth and the twelfth [G] fret of the third string
_ _ [A] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
[C#] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _ [N]
Okay, then we have to quickly jump up to the 15th fret of the first string and _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [C#] as we end we're starting here 12th fret second string
_ [G] _ _ _ _ _
[C] _ [G] _ _ _ _ [N] If you want to end on a high note you can actually go
_ _ _ Yeah, there's actually two harmony parts so both part both those parts are being played so whatever sounds better
You know whatever the however the moment moves you
That's the 15th fret here of the first string and you go
_ _ _ _ [Em] _ Okay, so why don't we play [N] that through a couple of times at a slower pace with the slide?
We'll play the whole solo all the way through _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
_ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Em] _ _ [F#] _ [G] _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _
[N] We'll do it again this time.
We'll end on the high notes
_ [Dm] _ _ _
[G] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [E] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [D] _ _ [Em] _
[D] _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _ [F#] _
_ _ [G] _ _ [B] Okay, so let's do it a couple of more times [E] this time up to speed and we'll do the same thing
We'll end on the low notes first, and then we'll end on the high notes the second time around _ _
[G] _ _ [D] _ _ _ [A] _ _ [E] _
[D] _ _ [F#] _ _ _ [D] _ _ _
[E] _ _ [C] _ _ _ [Dm] _ _ [G] _
[D] _ _ _ [E] _ _ _ _ [D] _
_ _ [B] _ _ [N] _ _ _ _
