_ _ _ _ _ I'd like to tell you about _ [Eb] a _ king _ by the name of [Ab] Hezekiah _ who _ was king of Judah.

_ And while Judah were in very much [Ab] trouble in _ [Bbm] war _ [Ab]
with the [Eb] Assyrians, _ _ _ _
King Hezekiah had taken [Ab] sick, _ _ _ very sick. _ _ _ _ _
And he felt no doubt that he did not have a friend, [Db] _
_ nowhere to be found.

[B] And lying on his [Ab] bed of affliction, [Ab] _ _
_ _ [Bbm] the Lord sent [Ab] Isaiah _ [Eb]
to _ _ [Ab] Hezekiah.
_ _ [Eb] _
He said, Isaiah, go and tell Hezekiah [Ab]
to get his house in order, _ [Bb] _
[Eb] for you have to die now.
_ _ _ [Ebm] _
[Eb] And I can imagine how Hezekiah felt [Ab] _ _
lying in his bed very sick and had to listen to these words.
[Db] _ He felt friendless, I know he did.
_ _ [Ab] _ _ _ [Bbm] And when _ [Bb] Hezekiah heard [Eb] the words from Isaiah, _ _ _ _ he got up and _ turned his face to the wall _ and began to pray to God. _
_ He said, [Db] oh Lord, _ [Ab] _
remember that I've been a good [D] king.
_ _ I have served you and kept your [Ab] command.
_ _ [Cm] And he said, my people need me now [Ab] more than ever.
[Bbm] _ _
[Eb] He said, why are you going to take me?
_ _ [Eb] _
And after praying, he continued _ [Ab] to cry as the tears were shaking hands under his chin. _ _ _ _
Oh, it's good to cry sometimes. _ _
Sometimes your trouble will press you down and you become so burdened and your heart so heavy until you can't hold back the tears.
Isn't that right?
_ _ _ And as he [Ab]
stood there crying, the Lord turned Isaiah around and said, go back _ _ into the castle and into the palace and tell [Db] Hezekiah that I heard his prayers. _ _
[Bb] And I've seen his tears.
_ [Ab] And I'll spend 15 more years.
_ I don't [Db] know about you out there, [Fm] but I call that a friend.
[Bbm] _ _ [Cm] _ _
[Eb] And Isaiah, _ _ _ [Ab] when he left, _ _ before he left, he told [Eb] Hezekiah what the Lord said.
He said, now in three days you go into the temple, [Bb] _ _ the Lord [Eb] will heal you.
[Ab] _ _
[Db] And Hezekiah [Ab] did that.
_ And I believe if Hezekiah was here [Db] today, _ _ _ _ right here on earth [Ab] today,
if he was standing before this microphone _ [F] and I'd ask him to [Bb] sing a song or to express [Eb] himself or how he felt, I believe this is what Hezekiah would say.
_ _ [Ab] What love _ _ _ _ _ we _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ have _ _ [Eb] _
[Db] in _ _ _ _ Jesus.
_ _ Oh glory. _ _ _
_ [Bbm] He [Ab] would say all _ _ _ of our sins _ and _ _ _ _ [F] grief _ to [Eb] bear. _ _ _ _
Oh, He'll bear yours too. _ _ _
