like, guys, I just like did this on the piano and I just like want to like share with everybody.

Well, you know, it's been 10 years since we've sang this song.
Yeah.
So it was really crazy.
Like, you know, just thinking about what would be the
best song to sing with you that instantly came to mind.
And I started learning it on the piano
and I was just like instantly taken back to how many times have we sang this song?
I know.
You know, in the studio, shooting it in the movie and then going around the world.
It was pretty crazy.
All these memories kept coming back.

What is your favorite?
I was just going to say, like, you know, over the several years that we played it, like
_ _ _ definitely the going on tour was such a monumental kind of experience.
None of us had really felt anything or experienced anything like that before.
And getting to perform this song that, you know, we got to create in the studio.
And I don't know about you, but when I recorded this,
it was the first time I had ever stepped into a recording studio before.
Yeah.
Oh, no.
I was like a total vet by then.
_ _ _ I'm just kidding. _
_ _ _ _ _ _ So, yeah, like getting to see the thousands and thousands of fans
who, you know, knew every word, even if they didn't know English.
And we got to create that.
I know.
We didn't write it, obviously, but we got to bring it to life, which is like such a crazy gift.
It was really cool.
I have to say that Lucas, out of, like, everybody in the cast, like his voice,
he can hit any note.
Like, I mean, he's just the best singer out of all of us.
I'm sorry, but he really is like, it's insane how good of a singer he is.
And I just remember going into record and being like, this is gonna be easy.
And I was just like, oh, my God, after I heard Lucas, I was like, oh, my God.
But it was so funny because all I remember is we were not close.
We were not good friends.
Let's be honest, OK?
It's been 10 years.
We can totally talk about this now.
We hated each other.

No, we didn't get off on the best foot.
We didn't, but we were all in this together.
No, we really like, I think we just didn't know each other.
And I think I was definitely like a lot like Sharpay.
And it was like Lucas, like, who is this person?

And we're like playing these twins.
And I have to say, like, after we wrapped, though, it was just, I don't know.
I've always had a love for you.
You're literally like my twin brother.
I love you, too.

you can learn to love anyone if you hear their story.
And I think that's what it took.
We just needed to live some life and go through some experiences together
and learn where both of us came from.
