[A] [D]
Well, [B] I did the song Horse Call [F#] Music many [B] years ago with Fred Foster who produced it.
And we did a video back then, which I thought was pretty cool.
I still didn't feel like it had the audience and the acceptance that I thought that song deserved.
I wanted to do another video at the town where we [D] lived.
Riding [G] along on a horse he called music.
[A] [B] I had that town built when luck touches.
It wasn't luck back then.
It was just [E] a town, a western town [B] that I was doing [E] a movie called The Red-Headed Stranger
[D#] and it required [Bm] a town.
And we had some [Em] folks in the movie business that was able to do what we wanted to do and
do it right.
So we built [A] the town, did the movie, [B] and ever since then the town has been [D#] used every [D] day for something.
I go down there every day and [G] hang out.
There's a church there.
[Bm] We have Easter services or Sunday services there at the church.
I got [F] all my horses [B] there.
So it's just [D] a great place to hang out.
But he [G] sang, ooo, [D] to the lady.
[G] Ooo, he made some [D] sign.
[G] I don't [B] really say, okay, I want [B] to do a record, blah, blah, blah.
[Bm]
[G#] But different things happen [F#] and we run into each other somewhere [E] and Jamie or Ray Price
or [B] somebody, [F] Merle or [B] somebody, say let's do something or I'll say, hey, I got an idea.
Like with Horse Called Music, I asked Merle, I said, come sing on [D] this and he did.
Now he wrote the [Bm] music,
[G] the boss of the [D] boat.
[Bm] [B] There's shots of my heroes, Gene Autry, Roy Rogers and those [D#] guys and their horses, Champion
and [B] Trigger and I felt like I needed [F#m] to have them in there.
Merle [E] is in there [Bm] and I have some [G] shots of the scene in [B] Stranger from Oregon is there
in the church and I'm [Bm] preaching and [F#m]
that's in there.
[F#] It was mainly I was just putting [B] together what I liked and what I would like to see
[D#] in there with all my [C#]
[Bm] heroes in there.
[F] And there's shots of me [D] riding.
High [Bm] on a mountain in [D] Western Montana, [Bm] two crosses cut [A] through a cinnamon sky.
[D] [A] [Bm]
Honestly, I was looking for an excuse to ride my horse.
So every [F] time I get [G] a few days off, I want to jump on the horse if [B] I can.
So I really planned this [Bm] video with me riding down through town [B] just so I could ride my horse.
And that's basically the end of the story.
[D] [N]
