[Em] [A]
[E] [G]
[E] [Am]
[Em] [G] [A]
Anyways, [G] that's a band I've never heard [E] of called Wishbone Ash with a song called Warrior
per request of HV2200.
So I think it was, I looked [Eb] at it and it said 1973.
So it's pretty old man.
But I haven't heard of them and I'm all about when you guys bring a request of something
I haven't heard of or that's not on my channel, I'm all over it.
Plus this is your first [Ab] request, boom, so I'm getting it for [A] you.
Tune standard, it starts with, [F] it's kind of a, more of a clean sound on the electric.
It's tune standard.
It has some [G] phasers and some different little effects on it.
[C] But start with A minor, it's 2D, [G] 2G and 1B.
And what your fret hand or your picking hand is [Eb] doing, or strum hand, [C] is pretty important here.
[Am] So you'll strum strings 5, 4, 3 and 2.
You'll strum it and then, so it's down, up, and then lift your index finger off that first
fret to make it an A2 chord.
And then bring it right back down to the A minor.
So really it's, okay, [C] kind of vibratoing the chord too which [Am] is tricky.
[Em] And then go to E minor, it's 2A, 2D and go up, down, up and then lift [A] your fingers off,
just hit opens and then [E] do an upstroke.
[Em] So it's, [E] and then right [Em] back down to the E minor, so 2A, [Eb] 2D and he's strumming basically
strings 6 through 3 or 6 [Em] through 2.
[C] And then G major, 3E, 2A, 3B, [Gb] 3E.
[Cm] And it's kind of cool what's happening here.
He [G] goes, [A] [F] so it's like hit all 6 [G] strings, down, up and then [Fm] jump over to D major.
Your [Eb] third finger is already part of that D major so no sense in lifting it off.
Those are little things on guitar that you want to try to remember.
If you can leave a finger down and transition to the next chord, do it.
And sometimes it may take you longer because now you got to think, okay, wait, I got to
leave which finger down?
But the habit won't take long to get to.
You know, [E] once you can just, [D] you know, [B] I want you to practice [E] doing it that way.
It will help.
[G] Okay, so down, up and then we switch to [E] D major, that's 2G, 3B, 2E.
Like I said, your third finger is already on the B string where it needs to be.
That's what we shared that with the G chord.
[D]
So [A] you're going to strum down on strings [D] 5 through 1 and then strum up but add your pinky
to the third fret high E.
That's called a D [A] suspended.
So [G] it's [A] here.
This part I want you to see.
[G] So I'm going.
[D]
[Am] See how that third finger I didn't [Gb] go?
I left it there.
And then drop that down.
Okay, and then you go back to the A minor chord.
Oh, no you don't.
It'll be.
[A] [Am]
And this is pretty cool.
[Gb] Go bar the second fret on the D and the G.
And obviously it's going to be hitting the B and E [D] but that's going to be irrelevant
because we're barring with our pinky on the fifth fret B and E.
And we're going to hit through the fifth fret.
And then hit strings [A] 5 through 1.
Pretty cool full sounding chord.
You'll go down, up, and then middle finger bar the third fret on the B and E and hit
strings 4 through [G] 1 on a downstroke and then do an upstroke.
Go right [A] back to that 2-2 on the D and G, 5-5 B and E.
So it's and then you start it over.
[Em] [G] [E]
Pretty cool little chord progression man.
[N] If you're at that phase of your playing where this is where you're at doing these types
of chords, this is a good solid rhythm man.
And then when it kicks in like a solo comes in and the chords behind it are [Am] basically the same.
It's like [Em] A minor, [G] E minor, G major [Am] and then back to A minor.
[A] [Am] Yeah.
So it'd be like
[G] [Am] and that's where the vocals come in.
Okay.
So if you have questions, [N] I'm here to help man.
Ask me and I'll see what I can do to clear it up for you.
