[Cm] He knows of their fear in [Eb] the forthcoming fight.

_ _ you never [C] _ reach [Cm] _ _ [Bb] the sky. _ _ _
They almost like a quartet when I hit [E] that never never like each person comes at it in.
But no this is this is definitely a cool take on Eric Burden and the Animals.
I feel like most of the stuff we've done has been kind of kind of darker.
Kind of more haunting [N] and this one we're getting the harmonies with them as well.
So that that [B] one that part definitely caught me off guard but I'm digging the vibe to it.
Now it's funny because that's why when I saw that this was suggested for Memorial Day.
I was thinking oh that the the dark the dark sound that the Animals and Eric Burden carries.
Like you know this possibly being a song that was about wartime.
I was like okay those those two I can I get it.
I see what makes sense but instead we have a song that I think has more of a brighter
feel than we're used to and what you would expect when you think you get a song that
might be about war.
_ Also it's not about necessarily like the soldiers because at the beginning which I
love where it was just kind of the voice.
It was just kind of like that that really cool setting of just him singing and the lines
about how the man comes and he blesses them before they go to war and the man knows that
what what could possibly happen to them.
Talking about there's gonna be blood.
Yeah and how he comes and he's and he speaks to them and he talks to them and how he's
gonna have to talk to moms and [B] dads afterwards.
So it's obviously like one of the religious people that would that would like come in.
But what I don't know what the correct word.
Probably a priest.
I don't know.
I don't know.
Maybe I don't know military.
I don't know what it would be but it's obviously somebody that that comes in and like he said
he blesses them before they go.
Well this is this definitely cool.
I like it.
Let's get back.
_ [Bb] I [Cm] hear my mother [Eb] pray and it ends with a smile.
[Cm] The order is given.
[Eb] They move down the line [Cm] but he's still behind [Eb] and he'll meditate.
But [Cm] it won't stop the [F] bleeding or ease the hate.
_ [Ebm] _ _
[Cm] As the young man move out [Eb] into the battle zone. _
[Cm] He feels good [Eb] with God you're never alone.
[Cm] He feels so tired [Eb] and he lays on his bed.
[Cm] Once the man will find courage [F] in the words that he said.
_ _ _ _ [Bb] God. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ God. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] _ _ _ _ [Bb] _ _ _
[Cm] You never reach [Cm] _ _ _
[Bb] the sky. _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] You never _ reach _ _ [Bb] the sky. _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] You never _ reach _ _ [Bb] the sky. _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] You never _ _ [Eb] _ _ [Cm] reach [Bb] the sky. _ _ _ _ _
[Cm] You never _ _ _ _ reach [Bb] the sky. _ _ _ _ _ _
[N] It was cool towards the end right there.
Goodness my phone vibrated so loud.
It was cool right there at the end like the horns like the flute that got implemented as well.
It was so bright and pretty but.
Caught me off guard.
Like I said I wasn't expecting [B] a bright sound from Eric Burden.
Right.
Obviously there are some things that you guys would have to maybe clear up and explain to me.
But it was obvious because he said the man would would give them the prayer and and hope
that that would give them enough to get there.
But I don't understand why he was necessarily called the sky pilot because what they described
was a man a religious man who was coming in and you know helping the men before they
went out on tour like you know praying upon them praying for them.
So I don't I don't understand why he was called the sky pilot and then after that he was like
you'll never how [Bbm] beautiful it was.
You'll never ever [Ab] ever reach the sky.
So there's obviously some points that I don't understand but I thought that it was really interesting.
I thought it was really really pretty.
No doubt about it guys.
Thank you all so so much for that suggestion and as always drop down below [N] let us know what
our next song should be.
We'll definitely check it out.
We need some more Eric Burden in the animals.
Yeah it's been the most different one we've got.
But as far as like what we [Bb] expect from like total total opposite ends for [B] sure.
But as we always send you guys out of here every single day not once or [N] twice but three
times you guys we love you we thank you we appreciate you and remember every day that
y'all wake up guys it is a blessing and that you are blessed to see another day and again
happy Memorial Day and thank you to all you veterans out there.
But at the end of the day we all have the exact same goal.
Let them know.
Hey y'all all you have to do is go out in this beautiful world today spread some light
spread some love and just try to make somebody smile.
We love you guys till next time we'll see [B] y'all later. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
