Hi, my name is Chris from Elevation Worship,
and I just wanted to show you an easy way
to play the song Yahweh,
and just on an acoustic guitar,
show you what chords we're using,
so hopefully it will serve you as you lead it
at some point if you choose to do so.
The chord structure,
it's got a good bit of movement in the song,
but I'm starting with my capo on the second fret,
and then I'm playing in C shapes.
So the song is in the key of D,
but I'm gonna play like I'm playing in the key of C.
So the intro [Abm] of the song just moves [Bb] between an F [A] chord
and a C over E [D] chord.
So all the C over E [Ab] really is is just [D]
a C shape,
a classic C shape,
but just with [Gbm] your open E string [D] there.
So it's a C chord over [Gb] an E note.
[D] And [D] then the F chord I'm using is like an [Gm] F2,
so I'm leaving, got my thumb wrapped right here,
[A] and then leaving this G string open.
[D]
So that makes it actually pretty easy.
My [Bm] fingers are just all set in place
to go right to [D] the C over E.
So the intro is,
[A] so then [B] the verse [C] starts similar,
but I'm gonna actually add,
do a more classic F chord without the open G string,
so it's not gonna be an F2.
So [G] the verse is this.
It's a [D] F, C over E,
then [A] G, [Bm] A minor seven.
[D]
[G] [A] Great.
So singing through that, it looks like this.

with my ring finger.
