The CMA Awards Wednesday night kicked off taking fans to church.

Fans are worried.

He started off solo, [E] a choir accompanying him, then came the surprise.

Now before I go any [E] further, I do want to put your mind at ease that Wynonna is okay.
She heard fans and media outlets concerned and made a statement about it after the show.

Though her presence was exciting, she seemed a bit off.
You can tell a bit in this clip of About to [Abm] Play, she was a bit pitchy at times.
Not something you'd expect from a hit-making artist that's been in the business for years. _

At first we thought technical issues might
be the cause of the off-pitch singing.
Maybe she was [A] having a hard time hearing.
But if you [E] take a look here, she [Ab] holds onto Jelly.

[Eb] She did recover however at the end, doing what Wynonna Judd does best [Db] with her busty vocals.

Yes, Wynonna hit it [F] head on.
I was so freaking nervous.
I got out there and I looked at Jelly Roll.
I wanted it to be so good
for him.
I could cry right now, but I'm not going to because I'm such a fan of his and he asked me
to sing.
And I said, absolutely.
I got out there and I was so nervous that I just held on for
dear life.
And that's the bottom line.
[E] Y'all, essentially Wynonna Judd gets nervous and starstruck [Em] just like anyone else does.
Doesn't matter [B] how long you've been in the business.

Right after the performance, Judd was on [A] an adrenaline high, telling Extra,
I [E] feel so like I just was in a car wreck.
I do.
I feel like my adrenaline went [A] through the roof
and I got dropped on my head and now I'm recovering.
[E] I don't know how to explain it.
I was on a roller coaster and I just got off and kind of overwhelmed and excited and let's go again.
