_ Howdy folks Zane Williams here gonna teach you how to play my song Jaden and Jill
_ It's just got five chords in it.
So _ it's gonna you're gonna make it.
All right
We first off we're gonna tune the guitar to drop [C#m] D.
All right, [C#] so you take this top [C] E string
Tune it down to a [E] D _
When you play a D chord, you got a nice low note in the bass and then we're gonna capo [Em] it on
fret 2
_ [B] All right, that's where it's easiest for me to sing
_ the good thing about a capo is you can put it wherever you want and
_ Sing it in whatever key you want, but on the record it's in the key [E] of E
Which is this fingering of D capo it on the second fret?
All right.
So now the five chords you need to know are D _ _
Okay, hopefully, you know a D chord _ _ _
[B] a _ _ _ _ _
Okay G [C] which you have to finger a little bit different [N] in the key in the [F#] tuning of [A] D
Drop D.
I do my ring finger on the [F] fifth fret _ top string
[E] Pinky finger below that also on the fifth fret and then my pointer finger is down here on the B string
_ on the [A] third fret
_ Okay, _ and then you just don't play the top string _ _ _ _ _
And
then B minor is a bar chord where you bar on the second fret and
Then play an [C#m] a minor an a minor shape below that
_ Okay, _ and then E [Am] minor is just going to be these top [F#] three strings all on the second fret
Just _ _ like [E] a regular E minor except [F#] because you're in drop D.
You got to cover this on the second fret as well Okay
_ _ [E] _ _ so the chords are D a
_ _ _ [Am] G
B minor and E minor
_ _ [E] and after that
Verse goes like it starts off
strumming on a D
_ _ And I I don't play this this top
_ You call it the top or bottom string.
I don't call [F#] this high string right [E] here
I don't play that I kind of rest my middle finger on that string to kind of mute it _
so _ _ _ it just sounds like that instead of
just
_ You don't leave that note out
_ Jaden had a job for seven bucks an hour at the filling station by the water tower [B] a _ _ Nada _ _ [A] _ gee
_ _ [E] _ _ _
_ Dee _ _ _ _ _ Dee Dee Dee _ Dee Dee Dee Dee Dee Dee Dee Dee
_ [B] Gee gee _ _ _ [A] _ _ _
_ gee [E] gee gee now, this is the chorus _ basically
_ _ [A] _
_ _ _ [E] _ gee Dee

_ [E] [C#m] B minor [A] _ _
gee _ [E] _ Dee
[F#m] E minor E [A] minor _ _ gee _ _ _ _ gee
_ _ [E] _
B _ [B] _ _ _ [E] _ [C#m] minor _ _ _ gee
[A] _ _ _
_ _ [B] [E] A-b that's [A] the part that was a moment [B] when Jake [E] met Jill
_ _ _ _ _ _ alright, and then you just repeat that for the second verse in the second chorus the
The fiddle solo part is just [A] just like the chorus gee

It's [B] how he pay his [C#m] dad's old 45 be mine.
_ [A] It's just like the other verses gee
_ [E] _ _ _ _

[E] Yes, he's on pain.

_ _ [A] _
Thank God.
He made it over that Hills G _
_ that was [E] the moment [B] when Jayton a [E] medjie
_ _ _ And then it's GAD to finish it off
