Howdy folks Zane Williams here gonna teach you how to play my song Jaden and Jill
It's just got five chords in it.
So it's gonna you're gonna make it.
All right
We first off we're gonna tune the guitar to drop [C#m] D.
All right, [C#] so you take this top [C] E string
Tune it down to a [E] D
When you play a D chord, you got a nice low note in the bass and then we're gonna capo [Em] it on
fret 2
[B] All right, that's where it's easiest for me to sing
the good thing about a capo is you can put it wherever you want and
Sing it in whatever key you want, but on the record it's in the key [E] of E
Which is this fingering of D capo it on the second fret?
All right.
So now the five chords you need to know are D
Okay, hopefully, you know a D chord
[B] a
Okay G [C] which you have to finger a little bit different [N] in the key in the [F#] tuning of [A] D
Drop D.
I do my ring finger on the [F] fifth fret top string
[E] Pinky finger below that also on the fifth fret and then my pointer finger is down here on the B string
on the [A] third fret
Okay, and then you just don't play the top string
And
then B minor is a bar chord where you bar on the second fret and
Then play an [C#m] a minor an a minor shape below that
Okay, and then E [Am] minor is just going to be these top [F#] three strings all on the second fret
Just like [E] a regular E minor except [F#] because you're in drop D.
You got to cover this on the second fret as well Okay
[E] so the chords are D a
[Am] G
B minor and E minor
[E] and after that
Verse goes like it starts off
strumming on a D
And I I don't play this this top
You call it the top or bottom string.
I don't call [F#] this high string right [E] here
I don't play that I kind of rest my middle finger on that string to kind of mute it
so it just sounds like that instead of
just
You don't leave that note out
Jaden had a job for seven bucks an hour at the filling station by the water tower [B] a Nada [A] gee
[E]

alright, and then you just repeat that for the second verse in the second chorus the
The fiddle solo part is just [A] just like the chorus gee
[E]

[A] It's just like the other verses gee
[E]

[E] Yes, he's on pain.
Dilly [B] a minor and pretty girl [C#m] walking in the rain be minor
[A]
Thank God.
He made it over that Hills G
that was [E] the moment [B] when Jayton a [E] medjie
And then it's GAD to finish it off
[A]
