Chords for $700 Drums VS $5,000 Drums

Hey, what is up everybody?
So a lot of people ask me what can I get that sounds decent for a decent price?
And I get it, musical equipment is very expensive.
So today we're gonna see if the sound quality increases as the money increases.

Both kits are recorded in the same room, on the same mics, with the same preamp, on the same DAW, with the same drummer,
playing the same song.
Can't get much more similar than that.
I also used this drum dial to get the tuning as similar as possible _ as well.
For this video, you will hear a full band mix, a bass and drum mix, and a soloed drum mix.
So you can really tell if you can hear the difference when a full band is playing as opposed to just the drummer.
Is the money actually worth it for the difference in sound?
