Hi, this is TJ with Piano Clubhouse and today I'm going to show you how to play
[A#] Heaven on Earth by Micah Stampley.
It's in the key of B [B] natural
[D#] [F#] [A#] [E]
B natural has of course
You were using all the black [C#] keys in this [D#] C sharp
D [E] sharp [B] F sharp [D#] G sharp and [B] A sharp
Very very simple song to play it basically just has two parts to it
And the two parts that it have are simple in themselves
We are in the key of B song for the first part of the song the verse
I'm sorry the course [E] starts out on the E in the left left hand is gonna play E major chord E
G sharp B
Then it goes to [B] B major
E D sharp F sharp [F#] and then the last chord of the progression
F sharp okay
A sharp C sharp and F sharp over F sharp
So whatever [E] hand whatever note the left hand is playing the right hand is gonna play the corresponding major chord
[B] [F#]
Right [E]
[B] hand [F#]
let's do the same thing he is [E] first
[B] B
[F#] sharp [D#m]
E [E] same progression
[B] [F#]
Now I'm gonna change the inversion up a little bit
So it's a little bit easier on the [E] hand instead of moving here all the way down to here and then here
I'm just gonna start out that E instead of playing this E.
I'm gonna throw this B down to the bottom
I'm play it in this
Inversion it's inverted [B] E major over to twice [E] B E G sharp
You can even throw that D sharp there if you want to that that'll make it an E major 7 that's up to you
so first chord
[B] B
You're already your thumbs [E] already on B
So all you have to do is move these two [B] over to D sharp F sharp and you're back
You're at even B major now, excuse me
Though the second here like I love throwing seconds on my one chords.
Okay, so B C sharp D sharp F [E] sharp [B] And
[F#]
Then the F sharp you can play this inversion here a sharp C sharp F sharp over of course F sharp
[E] [A]
[B] [F#]
[B] [F#] [E]
[B] [F#]
Okay, so there's a couple things extra things I'm doing in [E] here to kind of lighten this up of course
It's only three chords.
So rather than let it get monotonous.
You can do several different things with it.
You saw my left hand
[F#m] [B] Once [F#] you got to this F sharp I ran the beat up to B.
[B] [F#] [A#] [F#]
[E] [F#] [E] That's [F#] what I did
So [E] I kind of did a walk up before I went to that E
[B]
[E] There's another one so that E for instead of [B] going straight to the beat I played a pickup note of that D sharp
[E]
[B] [E]
There's [B]
[F#] another [G#] pickup play that G [E] sharp before I went to there, okay, so the pickup nut kind of help
Help connect all those different sections just make it sound more fluid and smooth.
Okay [B] Okay
[F#]
[B] [E] [B]
[F#]
[E] [B]
[F#]
[E] So those are a few different things you can do one thing you might have seen me do on that first chord instead of playing
E major I brought this G sharp down to F sharp
And I was playing this
B suspended chord
Instead of that instead of that E major either way sounds good.
[C#] All right the verse
This is the only change in the song the left hand now going to C sharp
[D#] The D sharp [G#] and then six.
I'm sorry.
Not six.
It's the number six in the number system, but the note is G [F#] sharp
F [E] sharp E
D [C#] sharp
[N]
