to describe [Ab] the most [Db] magnificent praise gathering,
[Ab] that [Dbm] the world has ever known.

As we view [Ab] this book,
_ [Gb] we [F] see two outstanding [Bbm] occurrences,
_ [Ebm] _ that happen here in this [Ab] 19th chapter.
_ [Db] _ What is it that [Dbm] prompts this crescendo [Bbm] of praise up before God?
_ [Ab] _ The [Gb] first [F] is the marriage supper of [Bbm] the Lamb,
[Ebm] which takes place in heaven.
_ [Ab] And the second is the [Db] return to the earth of [Ab] the Lord Jesus,
[Dbm] _ with the armies [Gb] of heaven and the redeemed.
[Ab] _ And this will bring [F] an end,
O [Bbm] God, to the battle of [Ebm] Armageddon,
and the [Bbm] rule of the [Ab] Antichrist and the false [Db] prophets. _
[Ab] But chapter 19 [Dbm] opens by saying,
[Gb] After these things,
[Ab] _ What [Ebm] things?
[F] The cry goes up, [Bbm] Babylon is [Ebm] called. _
Hallelujah.
[Ab] The marriage supper of [Db] the Lamb could not [Ab] take place,
[Dbm] until mythical [Gb] Babylon, the head of the world [Ab] church, is overthrown.
[F] It is then [A] that the [Bbm] glorious hallelujah [Ebm] chorus,
wails up in praise, before the [Ab] most high God.
And [Db] John said, I [Ab] heard the voice,
[Dbm] _ as the voice of a great [Gb] multitude, _
[Ab] and the voice of many [Gb] waters.
And the [F] voice of mighty thundering [Bbm] sang, Hallelujah,
_ for the Lord, _ [Ab] he reigneth forever.
_ [Db] O my brothers and my [Dbm] sisters, we can rejoice,
that when [Gb] this future event happens, [Ab] we'll all be [Abm] there.
We will [Fm] not be [F] going through [Bbm] tribulations and hard times and [Ebm] hurt and pain.
We will be there.
