Hello everyone, my name is Russell Nelson with Music Ministry Now.
Today we're going to cover Every Praise by Bishop Hezekiah Walker.
The song actually starts off in the key of C sharp.
And if you heard me, it actually goes all the way, it modulates from C sharp to D to E flat.
Alright?
So the very first chord that we're going to do, if you [D#] are, you can kind of choke, I'm
just going to show you the bass hand is [C#] going from C sharp to B flat to F sharp to A flat.
Very simple.
So you just bounce [A#] those.
[C] What you're doing for the intro, all we're going to do is, [F#] [C#] I'm going to break that down to you.
So while you're on the C sharp, your [C#] hand, your right, your left hand is just going to
be C sharp and you can double up the C sharps an octave higher, one low and one high.
And in your right hand, your very [A#m] first note is going [C#] to be, which is a C sharp chord,
but inverted.
So it's going to be A flat, C sharp, F.
[G#] And the [C#] very next chord is going to be an A flat chord.
[G#] A flat, C, E flat.
So it's, [C#] and your next chord is going to be an A flat, C sharp, E, I'm sorry, F sharp.
And then you go back and the very, go back to the root note, which is the C sharp, A
flat, C sharp, F.
So it's going to be, that's all it is.
Next chord is the [Cm] very same thing.
[A#] Your bass hand, which is your left hand, is going to go to a B flat.
You can do octaves on that and it's the exact same chord.
So the chords stay the same and you just move the bass line [C#] and it goes as does.
[A#m]
[F#]
[G#]
[C] All right, and it's just that simple.
Now there is something that you can do in between that where you can kind of walk down
the [C#] bass line.
So it can be, you hit C sharp.
[G] All right, and [C] all you're doing is just hitting the bass line to get you to the very next note.
So let me show you that really quick.
It's [C#] going to be C sharp, [C] C, [A#] B flat, all right, and then [G#] B flat, A flat, [F#] F sharp, then you
go [G#] back to A flat, all right?
