Start Jamming...
I have Taylor Love and Amy Love here today.
[E] Um,
[B] [E] for all of you.
Um, you guys wrote love notes in English class, I believe, and that's all to her.
Um, so Taylor's been having [G#] a long bottle with cancer, but um, lately [N] she's cancer free.
Um, and she's turning six this month, so.
Um, her mom is going to say a couple words, so Amy.
Hi everyone, my name's Amy.
[B] [E]
Um, I want to tell you a little bit about Abby [D] and Taylor.
About four and a half years ago, Taylor was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer called [A] neuroblastoma.
She was 18 months old at the time.
[B] About three years ago, a mutual friend to Abby and I, [E] um, [G#] introduced the girls together.
Because Taylor had a love of music, and he knew Abby had the desire to help people.
So the girls met, and they instantly became friends.
And in the past three years, Abby has been singing her heart out for Taylor.
[N]
She has helped raise almost $500,000.
And that's not just for Taylor, and Abby's desire to help Taylor, but it has gone towards research.
Um, to hopefully help other children battling this nasty disease.
She has shown people all around the world, and I mean all around the world, that anyone can make a difference.
No matter what you do, whether it's spreading the word, whether it's doing something kind for your neighbor.
Whether it's singing on the street corner.
That anyone can make a difference.
And if you get anything out of this, I hope you get that.
That you can make a difference.
And Abby has made a tremendous difference in Taylor's life.
Not only to bring money into research, but to help keep Taylor's spirit alive.
So for that, Abby, I thank you.
And [B] although Taylor is a little shy right now, um, [D#]
she loves Abby.
And they are good friends.
And they will remain friends for the rest of their lives.
So thank you Abby, and thank you everyone for having us here today.
And I'm anxious to hear Abby sing.
[N]
[B] The first song is called, If I Can Hold Your Hand.
It was written especially for Taylor.
So, probably heard it in gym last year.

[A]
[F#m] When we confine [A]
space, I will wrestle my fear.
[F#m] Who will be battle, if my enemy is near.
[D]
[A] Find me, when [F#m] I feel, [D] the [A] waves behind me.
Never [E] finding a place to think where [D] to go to land.
[A] If I can hold your hand, [F#m]
[A]
[F#m] two weeks to reach out.
[A] An illusion we've made.
[F#m] I found bleak, she's battle.
[A]
But your love was in play.
I know you'll find me, when I [D] feel the [A] waves behind me.
Never [E] finding a [F#m] strange place to stand.
[A] If I can hold your hand, [A] if I can hold your hand.
[D] I know [A] you'll find me, when I feel the waves behind me.
Never [E]
finding a place to [A] break where to give.
[F#m]
If I can hold your [F#m] hand, if I can [A] hold your hand.
I [F#m]
[A]
[F#m] keep holding on, [A] holding on.
I know you'll find me, [D] when I [A] feel the waves behind me.
[E]
I need a strength [A] where you stand.
If I can hold your [F#m] hand.
[A]
[F#m]
[E] If [A] [N] I can hold your hand.
