I was a professional musician at the end of the night.
The owner comes up to me and he says Adam I
Don't think it's gonna work
I said how come and he said well, you know, we were we were hoping that you would play
cover songs
And you know, you're just playing your original songs, which are nice and all but you know, it's nobody nobody recognizes
songs and so
You know, I didn't want to lose my first gig.
So I was like, all right, I'll tell you what I'm gonna come back next Thursday
I'm gonna learn a whole bunch of cover songs
It'll be great it'll be great.
He said, all right, I'm gonna give it a try.
So so I spent it spent a week
practicing, you know cover songs
And I went back
The next Thursday and I again I played for three hours
I played every song that I knew in the corner of the bar my guitar my microphone packed bar
Nobody still paying attention to me at all, but whatever I got to the end of this show and the owner comes up to me
