[Bb] Alright, so here's the lick of the [Cm] day.
We're sliding our pick down to the [B] high E string
and I'm barring [Bb] the G, B, [B] and high E string on the [Bb] 8th fret.
So here we go.
[Cm] Little rake [Em] there.
It's mostly my pick, but the high E string is being popped with the middle finger.
[Cm]
Just to add a little bit of emphasis.
Next, I'm going to the 11th fret of the B string, [Bb] then down to the [Gm] 8th fret.
[Cm] So far we have this.
[Bb] Now I'm going to slide up and back, going from 10th to the 11th fret.
And [Gm] backward.
[Bb]
Alright, add into it.
[C]
[Bbm] So that was kind of deflecting back and forth between the [Bb] 10th fret and the 8th fret.
[Gm]
[Bb]
Now I'm going to the B string, 8th fret.
And I'm hammering now on the G string.
This [Cm] is the minor 3rd right here, [Bb] and that's the [Ab] 8th fret.
[C] And I'm going to hammer up to the major 3rd, [Bb] just found on the 9th fret of the G string.
So far we have this.
[Gm] [Bbm]
[Ab] Finally, we [D] resolve on the root, 10th fret, D [C] string.
[Cm]
[Ab] Alright, so just a quick note on what's [Bb] happening with the right hand.
[D] We're going to slide down [Cm] again.
We're barring, [Eb] going pick, pick, [Cm] finger.
Middle finger popping the [C] E string.
Pick, pick, [Gm]
[Bm] finger right there on the B string.
[G]
[C] Alright [Eb] so just a couple of notes are being [A] popped with the middle finger, just to add
a little bit of emphasis.
[Ab]
