What's up guys, my name is Vakile.
Today I'm going to do a little tune and it's based on the chords.
I'll just play these chords [F] here.
[C] And that chord there [Bb]
and that chord there.
[E]
Okay, so this is in the key of F.
This is a 1-4-5 chord progression.
If you count in the key of F, you have F, G, A, B, C.
So it's F, [F]
okay?
After F, [Bb] you go to the fourth, which is your B flat.
B flat, that one there.
[C]
And then you go to your C.
C is that one there.
I'll just quickly spell these chords here.
Your F here is, I'll spell them in terms of [F] degrees.
It's F like that.
And [E] you have the third here.
You've got [Dm] the root, third, fifth, root and third.
Okay, and your B flat [Ab] goes that way.
[Bb] Now you've got the [F] root, [Bb] third, fifth and root.
[C] Okay, and your fifth.
You've got root, third, fifth, root, [Am] third, root.
Okay, [N] so that's how the spelling goes there.
So I'm going to do this.
It will be sounding under these chords here.
If you play those chords, that will work for [F] the
[B]
[Bb] [F]
[C] [Bm] Now, for my C, I'll just hold like that.
More like a C6.
Just hold like that and play a few notes out of there.
So in the first instance, I'll be playing [G] these four.
One, two, three, four.
Okay, and I'll be leaving the sixth in [A] the first string.
The first string and the sixth.
I'll be leaving them out for this first playing.
Let me put a guitar and [N] then you may have that
[F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[C] [Am]
[Bb] [F] [C] [Am]
[Bb] [F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [F]
[Dm] [F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [Dm]
[Bb] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [Dm]
[F] [C] [Am]
[Bb] [F] [Am] [Dm]
[F] [C] [F]
[Bb] [F] [C] [Am]
[Gb] So you may have noticed that this chord progression includes hammer-ons.
Some hammer-ons.
And the hammer-ons can be done in so many ways.
You can do a delayed hammer-on or a hammer-on straight on when you're picking the note itself.
So I'm doing a hammer-on when I'm picking the note.
I tend to hammer there when I'm picking it.
For example, I'll [F] give you
It's a hammer-on and then you flick.
You remove it immediately.
More like teasing, you know?
[Ab] It's not like a hit and then you hammer-on.
No, it's a hammer-on when you're hitting the string with your right hand.
And I'm using this [F] one throughout.
[Dm]
[D] So on a close-up, you can see [F] it.
[A] So I'm hitting [F] on the sixth here on this chord here.
[A] And when I go to [D] this chord here, you may have to know that for this chord,
this one is the third and [Bb] this is the fourth.
So I'm hitting on [Bb] the fourth of that chord.
[D]
Then on this one, [F] back, sixth again.
[A] [C] So it [Bb]
goes
[F] [D] Now for this one
[C]
This one I'm hitting, it's now the second of that chord, which is this one here.
See, it's the second of that.
I'm hitting on this [Eb] D here.
[F] Okay, so it goes
[Bb]
[F] [C] [F] [Bb]
[C] [F]
[C] [F] [Bb] [F]
[Am] [F] [C]
[F] [Bb] [Dm]
[Ab] Thank you very much.
This is Rikile.
