Albatross how to play {part 2} chords
Start Jamming...
Well, hello again everybody and sorry about the delay but hopefully this is my second part of the song Albatross or the tune
Should I say and remember we started off with all this kind of
It's droning
Top string with the capo on to the fifth string upside down
Leaving the top string free to give us that so
Now we got as far as here I think [B] and [B]
[E] [C#] then we got to the next bit
[E] Now there's another section to that then where you can also go
[C#m] [F#]
[E] You got to go back on your third string to get the hammer on there, so that's involving the third and the fourth strings
[E] But it's all dependent really on this top string
Drawing away with your phone [C] just plotting away on the top there now
We come to the next [F#] section where we get up here, and we are on the 10th fret
So you two fingers middle and third on the left hand put the middle on the second string
[E] Third [F#] right in front of it on the third string, so it's fret 10
And 11 [B] 5 6 7 8 9 10 and 11.
I think there well from the fret from the capo of course
it's just
Well if you just [E] watch this
[B] So that's it really just 12th fret
You just got to work on the slide a bit and [E]
the last [C#] bit is
[E]
All that really is a D minor shape there
frets 5
fret 5 on the bottom string fret 6 on the third string and fret 7 on the
third second string
Now obviously from the capo.
It's just up to the fifth fret there isn't it so this it's frets 5 6 & 7
D minor shape [Bm] really let's slide it back to the third fret [E] the whole thing down two frets
Keep that top string going
[C#] [E] I
Let go of the open bottom string there just to get me on the D
[E] D suspended 4 and let go so it's from the top
[B] Go right from the very top here now
[E]
[B]
[E] [C#]
[E] So the D going on there middle finger off
Alternating with the D suspended 4 that's all it is really
If you want to go a step further than I would suggest this
fifth [B] fret from the capo
Index finger the other two in front and this is another little pattern sound that I didn't [E] include originally
[A]
[E] [B]
[E] That's an extra bit there if you want to put that in starting right up here
Sorry, and then you get this [F#m] 3 2 on the bottom [E] string Finishing up on the second string third fret which is a D note [B] Now pinch the top and bottom strings and as you're doing it hit the harmonics right up here [F#m] Just backwards. That's all it is one two three one [A] two three one two three one [E] two three and finally [B] That's it Have fun with the second part of albatross any questions and
