Hello friends, I am here again with a very beautiful lesson and this time the song is
by Bombino and it is known as Amidni and I will put a link in the description of the
original video, it is a very beautiful video, go check it out.
A very late, new and very energetic song played [Bm] by the great Bombino who is a wizard at guitar.
Now for this tune I am going to teach it note by note.
For this tune I am on standard tuning and I have a capo on the second fret and I am
using an A minor shape.
Bombino plays this tune all by fingers, he uses the bass, for bass he uses thumb and
he uses his index finger for the rhythm.
But I am playing it in a little different way, I am using my pick [C] for the bass notes
and my two [Bm] fingers for the rhythm.
Now the first note is the A string, then you by your middle and ring finger you play the
B and the G string, then you snap the strings and play the upstroke again.
[C#] The first phrase [Bm] is, [A]
then I am using my pinky on the third fret related to the capo, third
fret of the E string.
I [F#m]
again use the same [Bm] pattern of rhythm that is up, then stroke, then up.
[A] And this by the way, the chord I am using by putting my pinky on the third fret is G
and I am playing all the other strings open.
[Bm]
[A] [Bm] Then I again play the A minor shape A and again the same rhythm.
[A] [Bm] [E]
[D] This little piece of lick is on the B string from third to fifth slide, then I play the
third fret of the E string, then I [B]
slide back from fifth fret to the third [F#m] fret of the B
string, [D] then I play the first fret of the [Bm] B string.
[A]
[E] [Bm]
[Bm] [Dm]
The second part of [C] the riff is [Bm] same [F#m]
but [Bm] [A] this time I am using a different lick.
[D] I [F#] am sliding from third fret of the E string to the fifth fret of the E string, then I
again play the third fret of the E string, then I slide back from five to three on [Dm] the
B string, then [Am] again I play the first fret of the B string.
[Bm]
[A] [Bm] Then I repeat the rhythm section [F#] and after this I again play the first lick.
[Bm] [F#m] [Bm]
[C#] Until here the whole lick is like and [Bm] [F#] [Bm]
[A]
[E] [Bm] [A] [Bm]
then after this [F#] I play on the E string I play open
and hammer on on the first fret, then open again, [Em] then the third fret of the [A] B string,
[F#] then open E, then E major and [A] immediately after E major I play G [F#] and after G I play A.
[E] And [A] [Bm]
[F#m]
[B] the last part of the lick is [F#]
again I play open E, hammer on the first fret of the E
string, [A#]
then I make a trill from third to fifth to open back to the first fret of the
B string, back to the third fret of the B string.
[C#m] [Bm] [A]
And [F#m] continue the riff.
[Bm]
Now the second part of the riff is like, [F#]
