[Abm] I am Stephen Fitzpatrick,
a singer and [Gb] guitarist.
Guitar extraordinaire.
[B] Yes, I'm Erdun Laudin,
[Gb] [Bbm] and I play [Gb] bass.
[Abm] I do backing vocals.
And together, [Ebm] we are
H.E.R. [Abm].S. I kind [Gb] of formed when, like, [Abm] I came over from Norway, [Eb] and you, like, [Ebm] travelled [Bbm] over [Abm] from Barrow with your dad. And [Ebm] I came with my dad. I actually came from [Bbm] France. [Abm] So that's interesting. And then we met in Liverpool, and that was a good time, and we bonded, but we didn't play anything together for a long time. No, no. You've got to create this bridge first. Yeah, a strong friendship [Bbm] bridge. Got to be good foundations and whatnot, and then [E] you've got the band that comes in eventually. Yeah, on top of this strong wall we've [B] built. And in terms of where we are right now, [Abm] I feel like maybe we're on the cusp of something [Db] right now. Maybe we're We [B] like to think we are. We like, we tell ourselves every day when we wake up, we're on the I'm on the cusp of something. [Bb] We're just We're just tick-tocking and [Bbm] rocking right now. Yeah. [Abm] What's [Gb] [Db] [B] good about Liverpool is that [Gb] you quickly [Ebm] get a grasp of the city, but it's still very big. But you [Ab] quickly feel at home. [G] You've got your mates, and they've got their bands happening. [Ab] [Ebm] Everybody's in this kind of group happening [Eb] all at once, and it's a very [Db] supportive [Eb] [Abm] environment. We're all playing [Ebm] in each other's [Gb] bands for a [Abm] while, and different projects happening and stuff. [Ebm] It's kind of like a cosy [Bbm] place to go and live if you don't want to go and live in a city, but you still want to engage in the music industry. You're [Ebm] still comfortable there, but it's not [Db] the big smoke. [Cm] Please [Ab] don't let [B] go, I do that [Ebm] now. So about [Abm] Songs of Hers, that kind of came about as an actual [Ebm] [Ab] progression. Yeah. [B] A little collection of [Gb] songs. It kind of felt like we [Ebm] weren't ready to commit to the The debut. [Abm] The debut. [Db] We weren't ready for that one. So [B] we kind of copped out [Gb] and made this collection of songs. [Ebm] It's still nine tracks. Nine tracks [F] of everything that we did over [Db] the first kind of [Abm] 12 months of Hers. So it's kind of a bit of [Db] a time capsule there as well. And [Abm] it's jam-packed full of [Bbm] hits, I'd like to think. [Abm] Big sexy piece. [Gb] [Bbm] [Abm] Coming up, we're looking at the album. We're in the early stages of doing that stuff now, so you can [Db] expect We're putting our toe in [Ebm] there and feeling the temperature of how the album's going to be. Yeah, not quite ready to dive in, but it's all coming together nicely. Still getting the swimwear on. We'll soon be in [E] the pool of a debut [B] album. [Gb] We kind of hoped to go [Eb] to Japan. Yeah, Japan is [Ab] a We've [Db] made it to the States, [B] and that was great. We want to go back and do Sassbye [Eb] again. That's definitely what we want to do. We could not do Sassbye as well, even though that was [Abm] great. And [Db] just to [B] release a good album and [Gb] to keep building [Ebm] on our amazing stats. [F] Yeah, there's something [B] amazing about having your music [Ebm] physically on this massive plastic disc. And the piece number two is going to be [Db] Yeah, and then you've suddenly got a collection [Abm] of You're [Ebm] on like [B] [Gb] Eagle Museum. [B] Eagle Museum. Maybe we like [Gbm] that.
