My [Em] name's Ben [D] Montagu and we're here at the North American Guitar [E] Showroom in London [G] to
celebrate the launch of the [F#] much anticipated [E] Crossroads guitars from B&G.
[D#]
[A] [G]
So I found B&G, we're always looking for new brands to represent here [E] at the North American
Guitar and I was doing that thing of just [N] scouring the web and I found this incredible
[E] video and at the time it had only had about 5,000 views.
This is in 2000, I think the end of 14, beginning of 2015 and [Em]
I immediately called up [A] Avi, the
head of, [E] one of the heads at B&G Guitars and we started [Em] talking [E] and [Bm] brought over two or
three instruments into the UK.
[C] They sold [A] really quickly [F#m] and [Em] the kind of love [C#m] affair [C] began.
I just think [E] that [B] they are phenomenal [Em] instruments built with love and passion and it's great
[G] to see that going into their [E] Crossroads model and we're just really proud to be [Bm] their [C#] UK [A] representative.
[E] I play acoustic, mostly acoustic guitars [Bm] and I need a riff [A] rate and someone [E] who ended up
playing in our [G] big The [B] Making of the Little Sister [E] video, this someone, Safai Alon, told
me there are two guys in Tel [G] Aviv, [E] they're the best in Israel, [G] you gotta let them treat [E] your acoustic.
So [A] this is what I did and this is how I met Eliran [E] and Kiki and at this point we became
[B] friends [E] and I came to know their work, [A] they were making custom [E] guitars and repair work,
a lot of [Am] repair work [E] on vintage guitars, they had huge, huge knowledge about all this stuff
and they showed me the Little Sister design and I thought, wow, what is that?
And they said, oh, it's a guitar, it's a design, maybe one day, no, we gotta [B] do it now, we
gotta start a company, no, maybe, no, no, I'm serious, let's start a company and right
when we were about [E] to sign the papers, we gotta have a name [G] for the company, I mean
ten [E] minutes before we [D] signed the [G] paper and we were thinking about so many names, eventually
[D] just, you know, the [Em] simple ways, our last names, Barashi, [G] Goldstein and [Bm] Goldfinger,
so that's B&G.

[Bm] That's right, it's a big move, [Am] but ever since [G] we started B&G, we didn't want to be a boutique
builder, we [F] started with [Em] our own hands [C] in [G] Eliran's backyard, [D] making [B] the guitars by hand
but we knew we wanted the Little Sister to [G] be a mainstream model, [F#] we wanted to be in
[E] every guitar player's home, [G] we wanted to be, you know, not just to [D] make guitars, seriously
to make history [A] and this is when I thought, [C] ok, we gotta find a [E] really, really good builder
to make this model for [Em] us and [D#] so, yeah, this is the result of that work, [C] really close together
with them and we're super happy [Gm] with it.
