We've been writing together for a long, long time.

That theme in itself is really my life as well.

I was [Cm] surprised, [F] you know, when [Bb] we're reading over the [Eb] lyrics,
sometimes I'm like, wow, he _ let me have quite a bit of lyrics.
He let Ashley know. _ _ _
_ They give me lyrical insight.
They give me the kinds of things that perhaps on my own
I wouldn't look for.
When we're writing, we don't feel nervous about saying
what's on our mind.
So from there on, it becomes a collaboration.
That sets me up, that sets me on fire.
