Actually, I wrote it after a glass of wine Right
And I thought I had come up with like the coolest batch of chords
In my composing _ _ experience
And then I realized that before I had that glass of wine
I had been playing my Chopin preludes
And there was the prelude in C minor going through my head
And then I wrote the song around the Chopin prelude in C minor

Well, I did, you know, that's why I started with the _ _ prelude

Well, yeah, the first record I ever did
Well, the first record I ever did was
I was part of a ghost group called Featherbed
And there was a song called Amy
Actually, the gal that wrote the lyrics, Could It Be Magic, wrote by herself, Adrienne Anderson
And I was the ghost singer on it
I really didn't want to sing anything
I just happened to be in the studio at the time
I don't know who to talk to, you or the audience

And Tony Orlando, who had produced Amy, _ heard it
But I played it just the way I just played it for you

And he had just come off of this major hit
So I came into the studio that afternoon
