Hello everybody, welcome back to Tommy's Easy Guitar Lessons.
Today we're going to learn how to play Belfast Mill, a little tune [Em] from Northern Ireland.
A great one for the theme songs again this tune.
Chords we're going to use are [G] G, E minor, [Em] [D] G, [C] C.
And [G] the strumming we're going to use is like this.
Down, down, up, down, up, down, up.
And it goes like this.
Okay, so let's do a version [N] of the chorus.
We'll see where the chord changes come in.
And you can follow [A] the chord changes [G] on the diagrams up [A] here.
[G]
I used to take the town, [Em] like the foot of a hill.
[D] There's a chimney so tall, [C] called [G] Belfast Mill.
And there's no smoking on the [Em] town outside.
[D] For the little town, the town, [C] and the town.
[G] And the only tune I hear is [Em] down the roadway.
[D] As you go up the street of town, [C] you'll find your friend on the [G] island side.
[E] So that's my easy version of [N] Belfast Mill.
[Bb] Like I always say, try and leave some comments and any requests you have on the YouTube channel.
[N] Keep practicing, and until the next time, [G] enjoy your music.
He said the town, [Em] that's the foot of the hill.
[D] There's a chimney so tall, [C] called [G] Belfast Mill.
And there's no smoking on the [Em] town outside.
[D] For the little town, the town, [C] and the [G] town.
