[Bm] If I had a world to give, and if I had a life to [E] live, would you come to me?
[Bm] Would you come [E] to me?
[B] This is where we're recording with [Bm] Trevor.
It's been his main base, I think, [B] since the 80s.
It was Ireland that was recording studios before that, so a million great records came out of here.
There's an old church you can actually see.

When we came to [E] talk about making the record, Trevor pointed out [Bm] to me that his studio in London,
Psalm Studios, was actually undergoing renovation and was going to be [A] closing.
But he said he could keep it open [E] for us to use it before the renovations [Bm] happened.
Now this is Psalm Studios.
It's off the old Brompton Road.
It's there near the [B] end of Portobello.
[Ab] It's really been there a very [Bm] long time.
Ireland Records owned it at one point, so a lot of [B] Bob Marley records were made there.
In fact, Bob Marley used to [E] live above the studio.
They did a lot of his [Bm] best albums there, songs like Get Up, Stand Up.

[B]
Apart from that, Stairway to Heaven was [E] done there.
So there's quite a lot of classic, [Em] old classic songs.
This studio [Fm] is also where they made the [Dm] Frankie Goes to [B] Hollywood records.
It's got a lot of history, but it's also a very [Bm] old set-up.
It's an old way of recording.
It's the way of recording before people had home production and things.
It's got sound [G] booths and it's also [Em] got a big open studio floor that we could [E] play in as a group.
[Bm]
We [G] decided right from the [E] start that the group would consist of me, [G] Steve Stevens, Billy Morrison,
Trevor was going to [Bm] play bass and Ash Shone on drums.
Because we were all playing in a room, it was very [G] easy.
If an idea [Em] came up, it was really easy to throw [G] that into the making.
It was all right [A] there and then.
[Bm] You can get these kind of happy accidents happening, or people on [D] the spur of the moment can say,
let's [G] try this.
It's the magic that [Em] happens when people play, and that's [G] what we're trying to capture.
So it's [E] a privilege and an honour to [B] be working there.
