What is up guys?
Groovy Guitar Dude here and I just want to do a quick little
breakdown on this picking part in the background of Black Beatles.
It plays
throughout the whole song and it's pretty easy the only thing about it is
it's very very quick.
So I'm not gonna do a chord version of this song for now if
you guys want a chord version let me know in the comments below but for now
I'm just gonna run through this really really fast picking part and show you
what it looks like.
Alright so we're up here on seventh fret so this is 7th fret 9th
12th and we're gonna have like this kind of C shape almost but our pointer finger
is gonna be down here on 7th fret of the G string and then our middle finger is
gonna be on 9th fret of the D string and our ring finger is gonna be on 10th
fret of the A string and this is gonna be the shape the whole time so if you're
wanting to play this part you can just play this shape through the whole song.
Alright so keeping this same exact shape through the whole thing I'm gonna show
you what I'm doing for picking.
So like I said it's really fast it's not super
complicated it's just really fast so what I'm doing is [B] a D string twice [Gm] A
string twice G [D] string twice [B]
and back to D string twice so it looks like this
all together.
[G]
And guys it's that simple that's really all there is to this.
Like I
said it's really quick so I'm gonna show you about the speed that I'm
playing it and I'm not perfect at it I'll probably mess up a little bit but
here you go this is just kind of so you can get the speed the idea of the speed
down.
[Em] Also as a last thing guys I told you I wasn't gonna really talk about
chords much and I'm not going to unless you guys say you want some in the
comments but from what I can tell most of this song sticks on E minor and hangs
around there so you can do E minor here or you can do it up here.
I kind of
prefer doing the one up here on seventh fret basically [G] bar seventh fret with an
A minor behind it because I'm pretty comfortable with bar chords and also
it's a quicker transition from the picking pattern into that E minor chord.
[Em] You're already kind of right there so I like that better if you're into bar
chords and if you're comfortable with them try that if you're into the more
beginner thing just do your regular E minor and it'll work just fine.
And guys
that is [F#] about all you need to know for [E] Black Beatles.
This is my favorite kind
of tutorial to [B] do on guitar because I love [E] doing rap music and really music
that you wouldn't usually [B] expect to see on guitar.
So this one was really [F#] fun for
me [E] and I hope it's fun for you guys.
Like I said before I know I didn't really go
over any chords for this song there really isn't a whole lot of substance to
put chords to to this song [B] it just kind of hangs out on that E minor mostly but
if you guys want some [E] chords for this let me know in the comments below and
I'll either make a video or I'll just come up with some and comment below.
As
always guys if you had any [B] questions or weren't sure about anything hit me up in
the comments below to ask questions I'm really quick getting back to them and if
this video helped you out I have a lot more like this I have like 200 something
videos and I know at least like probably 50 or 60 of them are rap songs kind of
like this one.
So if you're into guitar and you're into rap hit that subscribe
button so you can see more videos like this one and also hit me up in the
comments below if you have any requests for any song but rap songs especially I
like doing that kind of stuff it's a little bit of a challenge just a little
bit different and I get to be creative with it and it's not something you
usually would see a lot of guitar teachers teach on just stuff you hear
on acoustic guitar I try to teach on stuff that you wouldn't usually hear on
acoustic guitar or even electric guitar.
Lastly guys if you're interested in any
of my gear or my guitars or anything like that or my camera equipment or my
microphones or whatever that's all listed in the description below I get a
lot of questions on that so I decided to just pop it all down there that way if
anybody has any questions it's already there links are there everything is
there so check out that description if you have any questions about that stuff.
Guys I hope you have a wonderful day
