[Em] [F#m]
[B] [F#m] [B]
[C#m] [B]
[F#m] [B] [G]
[A] [E] [G#m]
[F#m] [B]
[E] [C#m] [B]
[A] [B]
[A#] Boss Gags, low down by Boss Gags.
We got, the scale we're using is the E major scale.
[F#] I don't know if that helps it [A#] too much or not.
Most of this is going to be, [N] we'll start out on the first and second strings and then a
lot of it, a good portion is going to be on the third string.
And then when we get to the end, everything will be [A#] on the first string.
It's not a hard solo at all.
[F#] I guess everything's relative, but to me it's one [F] of the easiest things I've ever done.
The [A#] first note we want [E] is 16.
This [G] is on [A#] the first string obviously.
But [G#] we'll hammer into [E] that.
[Em] [A#m] We really just want [G#] this note at 16 on the first string.
[A#] And this note at 14 on the second string.
But you notice I jump back here, that's to hammer into [G#] each note.
It's like a grace note.
[Em]
[B] Off on the second [A#] string.
Third string, this is all on the third string.
[B] 14 to 11 is one move.
[D]
[B] 13, it's just a one fret bend.
Release it back to 13.
Now I can take this third finger and just move it to 11.
[F#]
[E] [G#] And do a pull off.
[F#] [D#] And then do the same thing from here, but it's not going to be two frets.
I'm going to go from 11 to [E] 9.
[D#m] Only one [Em] fret.
I'm not getting the phrasing [G] as I [G#] explain it, so let me play.
[E]
[B] 14 to [C] 11.
[E]
[Bm] [E] Almost sounds like the odd couple.
[F#] [E] [C#]
I [G] don't know why I thought that.
[G#] [C#] [G]
[B] Okay, [E]
the next [Fm] thing he does, whoever this player is.
[F#] Some LA session dude I'm sure maybe.
[C#m] [E]
[Bm]
[A#] So after you hammer, [C#m] you play 6.
[E] 5 to 9.
Now we come to the second string.
[Bm] Hammer 7 to 9.
Watch, I'm going to do a hammer pull off on the [D#m] second string.
And play 9 on the third string back to the first [F#] string.
[N] See that?
So that was three notes on the second string.
One note on [F#] the third string back to this [Bm] first finger.
[F#m] [A#]
[B] [C#m] [E]
[Bm] Let me hit it just a couple more times.
[F#] [Bm] And just do a pull off.
9 to 7 on the second string.
[F#] [B] [C#]
[C#m] [B] [F#]
[G] And then you have to jump to 11 [A#] really quick.
And bend this up one fret.
[B] Now we're on the [A#] first string.
[E]
[Gm] [B] [E] [F#]
Push [G] 11 to 12.
[C] And then two more.
Don't pick, just [Cm] push up.
[Em] And then bend 11 to 12 [N] and come back to 9.
[C#m] [D#] [F#]
[G] And then you do that 11 to 12 bend again at the end.
[F] [C#m] [B]
[Em] [E]
When I release this bend at 11, I'm going to do a chromatic pull off.
I release 11.
[A#] [C#]
[A#]
[E] [Em]
And [N] I do those same three notes.
So I came from 11.
Bend obviously on the first string.
[D#] [E] [A] [C#m]
7 to 9.
[N] Now without the bend I pull off 11, 10, 9.
And I slide to [E] 7.
Same thing now that I'm here.
[Em] 9, 8, 7.
[A]
[A#] [D] I took it out of time because I wanted you to hear the individual parts.
[F#] [E] So [C#m] [B] [Em]
after you come from the bend.
[D#] [E] [B] You pulled off 11, 10, 9.
Then you pull off 11, 10, 9.
There's no bend here.
And you slide to [E] 7.
Oh, I see what I didn't tell you.
You go 9, 8, 7.
[A] [F#] [B] [E] [Em]
[E] [C#]
[Em] [A#]
