First comment down there takes you there.
Thank you for that.
Anyway, let's break this down.
All right, we're gonna need a D minor chord so we can [Dm] play it right here.
You can play it right there.
But a beginner should be able to know that chord.
So that's [D] the basis.
It's D minor.
Now there's a little lick.
[F]
[D] [F] [Em] So on the [D] D string, if you're not in drop D, we're gonna keep this in standard.
It's the open D.
Dun, [F] dun, [A] three, oh, [Dm] [Em] oh, oh, three, [D] two, oh, [Gm] oh, oh, three, [D] oh, oh, [E] oh, oh.
Now if you have the D minor shape, [Dm] [D] depending on how you're playing it, [N] or you could just
forget about the high E [Dm] like [D]
that.
[Am] Like you'd play a D major [D] but with no E at all.
Not the open E, just it's muted.
You're not playing it.
[C] That way it leaves your open middle [D] finger to go.
[F] [E] [D] [F] [D]
[Em] [D] [F] [D]
[F] [D]
Then I go to a regular D minor.
[Dm]
[E] I usually, I have a habit of playing it this way with my ring finger free, but if you do
it that way, that's [D] fine.
So dun, dun, dun, [A] dun, A, then [G] we go to G.
[A] So real easy.
D minor, A, and G.
You can make them A7 and [G] G7, which adds that bluesiness to it, but those are more, those
sound better as bar chords.
Well, actually the [A] G does.
You play [G] A7 and G7.
[C] I'm gonna keep it easy and just play the full minor and major voicing.
[Dm] So D minor.
D minor, A, [A]
then we go [G] to G.
Back to [Dm] D minor.
Been there before.
Looked [A] up, down, [G] and nevermind.
So A to G.
[G#] Then we go B minor to G.
And oh man, the range for singing has to be pretty high.
I can't [G] do it, but.
[Bm]
B minor [G] to G.
So one bar [Bm] chord.
B minor to [G]
G, then D minor to G.
[Dm] Then I found out, [G#m] like I said, my [Dm] habit.
Found [D] out [G] yesterday.
[C] So [Bm] that change.
B minor to [G] the G.
Then [Dm] it's D minor [G] to the G.
Do you know, now [Dm] it's a chorus.
Heard it through the D, D minor.
Not [G] much G.
Would you be G?
[Dm] Then it's D minor and D, D.
Then [G] I'm G.
About to lose my mind.
Honey, honey, [D] yeah.
[F] [D] [F] [D]
One more time now with [C] bar chords.
[Dm]
[Am] [A]
[G] [C] [Dm]
[A]
[G] [Bm]
[G] [Bm]
[G]
[Dm] [D]
[G] [Dm]
[G] [D]
[Dm]
[Dm]
All [Em] [D]
[Dm] [G] [C#]
right.
