[C] I don't know.
[G]
[Bb] Look up, look down, [D] there's [F] a hole [Bb] somewhere [F] in your head.
[Bb]
[D] Are you guys still, do you think [G] Boston's still hometown?
Boston is definitely the home of the band, yeah.
How many of you are in Boston?
[F] Three.
Three.
[Bb] Three.
[Dm]
[Bb] [Fm]
[Bb] When the band started, we were definitely a product of a [C] scene, you know, there's a big
strong [F] scene of roots music of all different kinds and at the time, nobody had any gigs,
you know, everyone just was like hanging out in Boston, we were all going to [Dm] school and
we would just get together every week, play at like, get [C] together at Greg's Lab at MIT
and play music or play at the Cantable House.
[Bb] [Dm]
[C]
[Gm] [F] [Cm] [Bb]
[Dm]
[Bb] It's [F]
definitely [Bb] [F]
changed also in the past [Cm] ten years, but when Crooked Sill was starting
out back in Cambridge, like Chris Pendolfi and Andy Hall, who then went on to form the
infamous String Dusters, they were [Bb] living in Boston at that time.
Casey Dreesim was there.
Casey Dreesim was there, like we, all those people were sort [Dm] of hanging out together and
then [Bb] people kind of went their separate ways and did stuff.
[F] And [C] [Fm] [F]
it's [Bb]
continued, you know, like when Tristan and his sister moved to Boston and Brittany
moved to Boston, there's a whole new crop of [N] younger musicians that are now coming to
Boston, both to go to school but also because [Bb] there's a reputation [Dm] for a cool scene where
you can do a lot of different things.
[F] [C] [F]
[Bb]
[Dm]
[Bb] [F] [C]
[Ab] [Bb]
[F] [C] [F]
I would say it's more of an approach to music than it is actually a sound because there's
so many different sounds that are coming out of Boston right now.
A lot of new sounds, a lot of bands [A] being formed [B] from this scene [Am] of young musicians.
[B] And it's sort of the, I [F] feel like the thing that's very cool and specific to Boston right
now in a way is this approach of how to bring different styles of music together.
[Bb]
[Bm] I'm [C] a fellow.
[F] [Db] [Dm]
[F] Hang your head [C]
[Ab] and try.
[Bb] [F]
Hang [C] your head.
[F] [Bb]
[Dm] [Bb]
[F] [C]
