Hi there, it's day 166 on Patty Kustrock's 365 days of Fiddle Tunes.
There we go.
Today I woke up thinking of a friend of ours, Dan Scramstead.
He's a lovely friend, and he's actually Jeremy's new [Eb] roommate.
He's just [E] got a heart of gold, and he's a sweetheart.
As I got up and went to get dressed, I happened to pull out the t-shirt [Bbm] that says the D's, which is his [E] band.
Great band, great guy.
So his [N] grandfather was Mel Bedard, who many of the fiddle players know well.
Mel was a great, great fiddle player and
loved to bring tunes back to Manitoba from his travels.
[E] He one day said, Patty, I learned [Eb] this great tune.
It's from Ireland, [Bb] and
it's [Abm] called Sheehan's Reel.
You have to learn it.
So [Em] I did, and we're gonna send this one out [Dm] to our buddy Dan [D] Scramstead.

Thanks, [B] Jeremy.
Boy, he throws some [Bb] neat chords in there.
Usually I screw up when I [E] hear him do those [Eb] nice chords, but I didn't [N] today.
All right, thanks for joining us.
We're off to Prince Albert to play at the Northern Lights Casino tonight.
Excited about that to see some old friends,
