_ _ Hello, I'm Mark O'Connor.
Every week I'm just over there playing with our
different guests we have, but this time I get to step forward and introduce to
you some of the greatest and most famous fiddle players in the world.
These
gentlemen are my childhood heroes.
_ I am proud to announce that we have all
recorded an album together.
Tonight we are going to feature music off this
album in a tribute to my violin heroes.
I would like to start by bringing out the
fiddler who I first saw play when I was eight years old.
His performance had such
an impact on me that I begged my parents for a violin for three years until I got
one.
I am so glad he is here.
The Raging Cajun is back.
Ladies and gentlemen,
please make welcome Doug Kershaw. _
