This is one of those classic Strat tunes using the middle and bridge pickups.
[Dm] It's also one with [C] two rhythm tracks and an overdub by Knopfler, so we'll be combining
the best of both worlds.

_ _ To get that late 70s [Dm] Mark Knopfler tone, we're relying heavily on the Warden compressor [Am] from Earthquaker [E] Devices.
_ [Dm] The Warden is an [C] optical compressor armed with [F] the same high quality features and sound
as [Dm] a studio compressor.
The first thing I did was dial in a quick attack and [C] slower release time to maximize
sustain with this clean setting.
I also have [F#] the ratio and sustain amount fairly [C] high, but [Dm] you won't hear any strange artifacts
from this compressor.
