It's been a while since we've done some videos, so we're happy to be back in YouTube land.
We've got a new Duesenberg guitar here to show you.
This is called the Starplayer DTV Custom.
It's really quite a nice instrument like all of the Duesenberg guitars.
We'll go through our features here.
The back is flame maple, as are the sides.
The top is a laminated spruce top.
_ It has this beautiful gold hardware with a Duesenberg type of Bigsby style tremolo that
stays in tune really, really well.
_ Duesenberg's D-tron pickups are wired to a three-way switch and a lot of interesting
tones from the tone knob itself.
_ It's a 25.6 inch scale, _ medium jumbo frets.
We also have Duesenberg's locking tuning gears, so it stays in tune very, very well.
This is, to me, sort of like a semi-hollow version of a Black Beauty type of look or
an older Gibson type of look.
It's a very, very well-made instrument and a very nice sounding instrument.
That being said, let me go through some sounds for you.
Here's our neck pickup.

_ _ _ Then we've got these other little _ _ switches.
When this is all the way up, _ it's an almost out of phase type of sound.
[G] Then back to, [Em] _ _ _ [G] and then all the way [Em] down, _ _ it's sort of like a boosted humbucker with a lot
of [Bb] mid-range.
[C] _ _ _ _ _ [G] _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ _ [E] Then back to [D] the middle [G] position.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [D] Here's our second pickup, the middle one, [E] _ _ [A] _ [Bb] _ [A] _ [E] _ _ [Em] _
_ _ [A] _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ and then our back pickup.

This tone control works on, obviously, all three of the pickups. _
Really nice sounding pickups.
I would describe _ this as a modern type of Gretsch type of pickup.
To me, it's a little more crisp, perhaps a little bit more refined, _ _ as is the guitar itself.
So let's go on to our overdrive sounds.
Today, we're going to be using a TC Electronic Flashback Delay and also a new pedal we just
got in this past week from J Rocket Audio Designs, and it's called the Archer pedal.
Very, very nice overdrive pedal, clean boost type of pedal.
So, _ _ _ here's our _ bridge pickup overdriven, and I'll play some music [D] for that too.

_ [Fm] _ [A] _ _ _ [Em] _ it's a very, very nice big, fat, semi type of sound. _
_ _ _ Works very well with a retro type of sound or an independent type of sound, but yet it
touches all the other bases of blues music, _ _ _ roots rock and roll, and even jazz music.
This guitar, you can get it to really sound [G] very sort [N] of [A] warm. _ _
