Hi, welcome [D] back.
So [C] as you guys know I play guitar off-camera, but not today today
I've got something special for you
You know, I've tried to build a repertoire of a good amount of songs [Em] that I can just play
You know for friends or by myself
There are a good amount of songs that aren't [Dm] particularly challenging to play that kind of make people go.
Wow, [E]
that's good
And today I want to share those with you [G] easy guitar songs that sound impressive
Full disclosure these songs aren't really gonna impress someone who's like an actual guitarist
But if you just want to play some songs for your [C] friends who don't play guitar
These are good ones, you know
I tried to order them like from easiest to hardest easiest being songs you can play if you like never [E] touched a guitar
hardest [Bb] being if you really sit down and
Try hard you could probably get it in like three days [F] if you've never played before
Mm-hmm, maybe not probably [D] not but they're easy
I'm not gonna do like an in-depth tutorial on how to like play each one if you want to learn them
Probably just look up tabs or chords or Marty music.
I just kind of want to do like a brief overview of them
So first up is blistering the Sun
[C]
[G] [G]
So that was cool because it's just on top [N] two strings
You only play three notes and you only really need to move one finger cigarette daydreams by cage the elephant
This one doesn't sound that technically impressive, but it's really easy [D] to play like exactly like the studio version which makes it impressive
[Gbm] [G] I
[C] [Am]
Forgot to do one hurt by Johnny Cash
[C]
[D] [Am] Today I
Don't know if that one's impressive, but it's good.
So the next year a little bit harder
[D] but
[A] [E] [B]
and
Then this one's nice because [Gbm] once you start singing you can just transition to [A] open chords
[D] Maybe we can [A] make it to you
Maybe [E] together and get [B] somewhere and you know, you got to go down on the neck.
So like
It looks it looks like you know
[Abm] So next up is [E] love yourself
[Ebm] [Dbm]
[A] Whatever in a similar vein like every Ed [Bb] Sheeran songs pretty easy to play because they kind of just stick to like the basic
Pop chords and like he'll vary the finger picking so it's mostly just figuring that out
But for the most part like in an afternoon you can figure most of it out You
[Gbm] [A] [E]
[E] [A]
[E] [C] Okay, and last up is another one falling slowly from the movie once
[Em] [D]
[C] [Eb] So that was nice it's a bit of a love song, I don't know if you can see how much I'm sweating
It's a lot.
So this isn't like a definitive list of like all the best easy songs to sound good
There's kind of my favorite ones to play
So like if you have [Db] any more that you like playing [Gb] that aren't too [Ebm] technically challenging
Let me know cuz I could use them new videos coming [Db] out a lot more.
[Eb] Okay
[Ebm] [Bbm] [Eb]
