Hello, welcome!
In this video we will learn how to play the CFG7 chord progression
and we will also learn two songs that use this chord progression.
So make sure that your ukulele is tuned and let's get started.
So let me give you a quick preview of [C] those two songs.
[G] [C]
[F] [G] [F]
[Gm] [C] [F]
[G] [F]
[G] [C] [F]
[G] So [F] now I'm going to slow it way down so that everybody can do it.
Okay, so go to C chord [Eb] first, use your ring finger.
Do not use your P symbol fingers because we need those for F.
So [C] C, now go to F with your P fingers.
[F] [E] Go back to C.
[C]
If your fingers are [Eb] way out here, you're not going to be very [C] quick.
So keep your fingers low to the fretboard.
C, [F] F.
And now for G7, [B] this finger needs to stay, the index finger needs to stay glued to the fretboard
[Bb] because it's the same in F as it is in G7.
Now go to G7.
[G] Notice how this [Eb] part of my hand angled upward to make room for this finger, the ring [Gm] finger.
Watch [F] again.
F.
Watch me, watch me.
[G] Notice [F] how the hand moved.
[G] [Eb] Okay, so you're going to need to do that to make room for your ring finger.
So I'm going to [C] try C, [F] F.
[G]
Again.
[Am]
[F] [G] [Bb] And so from G7, we're just going to slide the ring finger down to [C] C.
[F] [G] [E] So let's try it.
One, two, the whole thing.
Go.
[C] C, [F]
F, [G] G.
[Bb] Wait, wait, [C] switch.
[F] F, [G] G.
[C] Switch, now.
[F] [G] [N]
[C] [F] [G]
[Bbm] [C] [F] See, [G] [Bb] super simple.
Let's do it again.
One, two, ready, [C] go.
[G] [Bb]
[Cm] [F] [G]
[Bb] One, [F] two, ready, [Bb] go.
One, [C]
two, ready, [G] go.
The beauty of [Db] these two songs is that this chord progression just repeats throughout the whole song.
So if you spend a little bit of time learning those [Gm] lyrics, you're done.
You just learned two songs with that easy chord progression.
Okay, now I'm going to play with a little bit more [C] flavor, a little bit of sabor on those songs.
[G] [C] [F]
[B] [C] One, [F] two, ready, [G] [Am] go.
[F] One, two,
[G] [C] [F]
[G] [C] [F]
[G] [C] [F]
[G] ready, [C] go.
One, [F] two, ready, go.
One, two, ready, [G] go.
[C]
[G] Practice the [Bb] C, F, and G7 chord progression until you have mastered it.
This is not meant to be mastered in one video.
If you did, that's awesome, but this is meant to be practiced and practiced every day until you master it.
So keep practicing and come back to my channel once you're done so that you can learn something new.
Thank you so much for watching and I will see you in the next one.
