[D] [C] [G]
Hi, I'm Finn Wolfhard.
We're at Amoeba right now, and this is [C] What's in My Bag.
[G] [C]
[Em]
Number [G] one, The Zodiac, Cosmic Sounds, by Mort [F#] Garson, [A] or Gerson.
He's from [G#m] Canada, and he's a composer with synths and weird [G#] stuff,
and he has an album called [Cm] Plantasia, which [F#] I've listened to a [A#m] lot,
and it's really, really [E] good.
And Amoeba didn't have that, [G#m] so I took [C#] this.
I have no idea what [A] this is going to sound like.
It looks like every track is a zodiac sign.
[Am] Capricorn convinced can make gray glisten like
Words and music copyright, NMA Music, spoken by Cyrus [C] Faryar.
[A] Pisces.
He's a [C] Pisces.
What is this?
[Bm]
Pisces playing the [Dm] pipes of peace,
[Bm]
painting [Am] people with promise,
[G]
pouring the [G] world [Em] out of a [D] moonstone.
Joe Jackson, I'm the man.
I actually haven't ever listened to Joe Jackson,
but my bassist in my band is a [F#] huge Joe Jackson fan,
so I want to do the conversion and [A] listen to some Joe Jackson.
[D]
[A] [E] [D]
This is [E] a crazy album cover.
It's like he's selling drugs, but they're watches and hooks
and makeup compacts [E]
and pictures.
Joe Jackson's my kind of guy.
[A] This is the Courtney Barnett, [G] Kurt Vile collaboration record.
I've listened to [A] Over Everything.
I'm all alone on my own by [A] myself
[G] And there ain't another single one around
[D] I want to dig into my [A] guitar
[E] And the blues riff [G] that hangs
It's like [E] so good and so tight,
so I really wanted to listen to this from the [Bm] beginning.
And I also really loved Kurt [Bm] Vile's music before this,
and also Courtney [F#m] Barnett's music, which I've never really listened to,
but they're like perfect [E] together.
They've got the left hand, right hand type thing.
Telecaster, Jaguar, [G] which is cool.
Okay, we got the soundtrack to It Follows,
which is very awesome and super [C] synthy.
Heels is amazing, the very first track where she's running,
where you don't [B] really see anything, you just see her on the beach.
[E]
I [D#] love [Cm] Lakeward and Relay, [C] all those are so good.
They all match up with the scene so well,
[F#] which is hard to [C] do [B] sometimes,
but this is like a perfect soundtrack.
[B]
[Em] [B]
[E]
[B]
[F#] [B]
I got $2 DVD, Squid and the Whale, Noah Balmak.
This is nothing like your mother's house.
That's what I just said.
No, you [N] said our house, that's your mother's house.
This is your house too.
No, this is your house.
It's our house.
Jesse Eisenberg when he was like 18 or something.
I can't imagine living with you guys like this.
Don't most of your friends already have divorced parents?
[C] [A] Yeah, but I don't.
Well, now you do.
Super, super good movie, incredible.
I want to watch the special features,
because I've never seen the [F#m] special features.
Interview [B] with director and writer, [A] oh sweet.
This is [G] Foxygen, Hang, they're amazing.
I actually saw them in [C] Atlanta
back when I [Am] didn't know sort of [Em] who they were.
They put on an incredible live show,
and then I just [A] started listening to them [Em] sort of recently.
Follow the [A] leader, [E] [Em] follow the [A] leader
And the leader [C] is you
[Bm]
[G] [Em] Follow the leader is my favorite track, which is [F#] the first track.
They all have [Em] super amazing arrangements,
a lot of horns and strings [C] and stuff,
very like [Bm]
[G] 70s, yeah, [D] it's really, really cool.
If you see it, then [C] just sing a song for [D] me
[Gm] If you see it, then [C] just sing a song for [D] me
[Gm] See it, then just sing a song [F] for me
[D] Last [F#] but not least,
this [G] is Do Hollywood by the Lemon [A#] Twigs,
and they're my favorite, favorite band [D] right now.
[B] [E]
[A] [B] [D]
They're young, they're only a couple years older than I am,
which is [D] crazy, [B] and they're [G] prodigies, and they put on,
[F] I haven't seen them live yet, but they put on an [Fm] incredible live show
from what I've seen on the Internet.
[C] I'll plug [D] the [E] Amoeba, live at [C] Amoeba, you can check [D] that out.
And actually, [F#] weirdly, coming back to Foxygen,
Jonathan Rado produced Do Hollywood,
who is one of the main guys in Foxygen,
[E] and also Michael, who's right here,
I don't know if it's all the tracks,
but he played drums on the Foxygen album,
and [F#m] Brian played guitar, so it's all kind [E] of linked up weirdly.
I'm gonna let the girls be
[A]
[F#] It's just such a different spectrum, every song,
like [B] opening up a song like I Want to Prove to You,
like a Beach Boys type thing, and [E] like High and Low
is just like a weird synth song, very kind of much like Plantasia,
what [B] I was talking about before,
but there's definitely my [D] favorite band right now,
and they are gonna do amazing things.
[E] Sure, so I have a band in Vancouver called Calpurnia,
and a lot of this, actually most of this music
is very influential to us.
[B] I play rhythm guitar and I sing, and I have 3 friends,
[A] and [Em] there's lead guitar and drums and bass,
and then we'll have some keys and stuff, it'll be good.
I'm super excited for you all to hear it.
Sweet. Awesome.
[A] That's it.
