All right, so this is a piece that's timeless.
Like I said, the musicians, it's one of those bands where
you can fall in love with every player.
In fact, being an accomplished guitar player myself,
Steve Lukather is one of my favorite guitar players.
Bobby Kimball, certainly way up there as far as fantastic singers.
So, now what we decided to do, because we've been being so diverse
in singing in so many different styles,
we decided to take it up a little bit.
We massaged the melody a little bit,
stayed within the style of the song,
but I worked line by line with Gabby on this
so that we could get a lot of cool blues,
not gratuitous blues, but we did it in the spirit.
So, anyway, that's what we do here at Ken Tamplin Vocal Academy.
We do total takedowns of different styles of music.
We grow the voice in different ways so that we can increase our palette.
And that's one thing I'd like to say about the band.
You know, Toto's one of those kinds of bands that can play anything.
